I feel bad for Ret dps at 85

Out of all the heroics I have been running I have yet to see ret pallies do even remotely appropriate dps. I have seen a few boss encounters where you could obviously tell they hit a lot of back to back RNG proc's but outside of that I don't even want one near me.
I thought at first the nerf before Cata launch was to balance Ret out at 85 but after seeing the dmg they deal compared to all other classes it's back to them most likely being the laughing stock of the game again for dps. They have been 4th overall in every 5 man i've been in with them. The only ones they are beating are the healers. I have been running with our top dps mainspec ret from wrath who knows his proper rotation and he's just getting splattered in dmg. Hopefully a few incoming buffs back to a few of their dmg abilities will find their way back to ret here in the next week or 2 |

Well Calsun how is that fair to rogues and mages what can blizzard do to make Retadins fair to play in PVP against them since they also have resilience
Did you ever wonder why everyone made a Retadin paladin last patch? I admit there has to be a fair medium but with all the advantages paladins have already it would be hard to make an even playing field without going overboard again All you want is to go back to where they just button mashed and got highest DPS with absolutley no skill |

so Ret need to do sub-par dps because they have BUBBLZ, PLATEZ, AND HEELZ, right? (3 things that have zero impact on dps.....) go read the 10+ page thread about how clunky and incomplete the ret pally spec feels right now. I dont have an 85 yet, but I have 6 80's... this ret spec in its current form is the most clunky spec Ive ever played in this game....and it sounds like from what people are posting that beyond being extremly clunky it also has terrible DPS. Why are you even posting in this thread again? |

Umm no... Ferals had the worst rotation and were the most "clunky" last patch don't think i have no idea about what you're talking about and it was a lot worse then current retadin problems i have 5 80's one being a pally even i just feel that if you do highten their DPS how do you make it so that they don't just dominate PVP again? Also theirs no way they should have as good dps as rogues or mages that's just unfair the whole " BUBBLZ, PLATEZ, AND HEELZ" does matter everyone would be QQ'ing if suddenly rogues got those powers and people will also QQ if they make Pally's as strong as pure classes because thats just un fair considering all the choices Paladins are givin being hybrids I think they should be more like warrior dps instead of being an overall class, they're the only melee class that can heal in battle succesfully and have the best armour this is looking in my perspective i mostly play WoW for PVP theres no way i could kill a retadin if you gave them everything you want Retadins just shouldn't have heals but i agree they should have relativley good DPS as good as any other hybrid but not as good as mages rogues etc. |
