Hit Rating gear

So, I'm thinking of picking up enough pieces of this to guarantee hits against mobs 2 levels higher than player level, come 85. It would be nice to be able to have confidence in the effectiveness of my own CC/interrupts in dungeons, where not everyone will always be on their toes. I'm thinking of this very hard, actually.

That said, I'm wondering if it will be at all beneficial for raiding. Are there enough mobs requiring/able to be CCed on any given pull that my contribution there would be felt? Are the numerous unpleasant spells raid trash casts going to be, at least in large part, able to be interrupted?

If not, I'll just keep the extra stuff around for Dungeons, but was curious if I should take a more proactive role in preventing damage across PvE content.
