WHEN POSTING A KILL, PLEASE INCLUDE WHETHER IT WAS ON 10-MAN OR 25-MAN
Hello, please read:
After speaking with a few people from raiding guilds around the server, I would like to maintain the 10-man and 25-man progression lists separately. For those unaware, WoWProgress is no longer reliable for distinguishing 10-man versus 25-man kills--if a guild kills a boss on 10-man, they will not get 25-man credit if they do it afterwards. WoWProgress is sufficient for tracking 'bosses downed' progress overall, however many guilds rely on WoWProgress for recruiting, and it is currently a bit difficult to tell (at a glance) whether a guild has been progressing in 25-man or if their progress is predominantly in 10-man.
That being said, I won't be switching the format over until I have sufficient data for both. A big thanks to those who have posted the raid size with each update, please continue to do so. I ask that anyone who in a guild that raids in both formats, please send me an in-game mail with which bosses have been done in each format. If I don't get enough mails from guilds that I know run raids of both sizes I'll take that no one really cares to split up the progression listing.

Is there a general consensus that we should track Baradin Hold bosses? I can't remember how we handled the Vault bosses in Wrath.
Also, should we distinguish 10 vs 25-man kills? I anticipate some 25-man guilds might shift back and forth between the two. I could use different symbols for 10-man(♦) vs 25-man (♠) kills with the first-time kill taking precedent (i.e. if your first-time kill was with a 10-man, it'd be tracked as a 10-man kill). Wowprogress doesn't appear to track this, so more room for my error in recording kills for any guilds that don't post here xP.
Appreciate input. Don't want to make things more complicated than they need to be, but want to give credit where due.

I don't think the Vault bosses were ever recorded back in the old thread. Not even gonna comment on the Tol Barad situtation, that can be discussed in the other thread.
It would be better to do your suggestion for it. Wowprogress doesn't track them seperately since there isn't seperate sets of the kill achievements. Probably be best to have wowprogress track ranking wise, and just have this thread for which version the kill was from.

Originally, they were recorded, as they were *somewhat* challenging the first few hours of being out but....it is the VoA type boss so it's really up to you if you want to record it or not. It'll be pugged in a few weeks anyways...
Sorry this thread is only for raiding progressing purposes. If you want to continue with your virtual leatherworking epeen erection then please do it elsewhere.
I think 25/10 should be kept as the same since they keep the same lockout.
So if some downs argaloth 10man it should be equal to argaloth 25m just to keep it simpler
Also props for taking the initiative for keeping track of the raiding! Way to be a go getter :D
