Well, I just did Heroic: Lost City of the Tol'vir and wow! It was a tough instance for the pug we had (only myself and a Moonkin DPS were guildies). We lost one tank after he ran into the first group of trash with no CC and dropped like a stone. Got a new one, had a few wipes, but got through it okay. Managed to heal Siamat with a lot of frantic healing and cooldown popping but all in all I had a great time! I can understand why people are upset, or don't find healing fun (that's your choice), but I can say that people should at least give it a shot before quitting.
Gratz. I finally was able to do Grim Batol Heroic last night. That's one I do not recommend doing in LFD. I've pugged a bunch of others (Vortex, Tol'vir, Deadmines, SFK, BRC, etc). But Grim Batol... a pug can usually kill the first boss after a bunch of wipes, but it takes forever. Then you get to the second boss and his shield phase kills everyone and the group breaks up.
Part of the problem is the average person is so inexperienced. You have to explain each fight and they start out not really knowing what to do. It takes a few wipes to learn. In a month or two, that should be a lot easier with people knowing the fights more.
when i did him yesterday it was easy to me the first boss of sfk had me worried but the commander took 1 wipe and then downed him.
