Mage Apprentice
|
So I'm rolling this here mage, and I admit, I don't know much about the class, or the lore behind it. So I was wondering if there is a group out there, a school, something, where an aspiring mage might find himself someone willing to take on an apprentice? I searched the forums, but there was much and more to wade through. Any information on what direction I should go with be great, either by contacting me here, or in game. Thanks!

I may be wrong, but I think the Ashen Tree does something similar to this . . .
If someone could clarify this, that would be great. |

And I've spent forever looking for a suitable host—err, apprentice. |

The Zin'Dorei's Shadowmoon School takes students, even those of lesser lineage. As the head of the school, I can provide lessons both IC and OOC (though I haven't experienced leveling up in the post-sundering Azeroth).

The Ashen Tree is your best bet, they have atleast 5 RP events a week with magical class training and such.

Phair very, very rarely takes apprentices under her wing. But you're more then welcome to hang out around the mages tower in Stormwind. In fact I whole heatedly encourage it.

I just rolled a goblin mage here and I'm looking for the same type of guild. I've played a mage for years but am always looking to learn the class better. And since this is my first RP mage, a Academy type RP guild would be perfect. Anything like that Horde side? Thx

Originally I was just going to do as others had and pointed you to the Ashen Tree. However, if you go about it ICly, I could see Kali teaching more than just a "class" in the Tower and attending more.

I'll have to check the Ashen Tree, but Doctor Hawtrey wouldn't mind being a tutor or instructor on call if Mister Gilon is curious.
