Is anyone on Dethecus participating in the Weaponsmithing Fan Art Contest?
I'm probably going to give it a go. I'm a full-time custom knifemaker, and I have actually had plans on making some World of Warcraft inspired weapons before I've even heard of the contest. Should be fun.
I'm pretty sure it isn't necessary, but I am going to make my entries battle-ready, heat-treated, sharpened, etc.
I'm considering making both a mace and a dagger, and see what one comes out best. I obviously have more experience in the bladesmithing field, but I'm mostly excited about the mace. If I go through with it I'll keep this thread updated.
Anyone have any input, ideas, or opinions on what I or the others should do? I am making it battle-ready so it can't exactly be too cosmic to where clay, plaster, and other weak materials would be needed in order to make the item look close to the in-game items.
The new Ashkandi blade is pretty cool.
For Daggers and Maces, No Mace stands out more than the one used by Arthas, Light's Vengeance.
For Daggers; I cant think of one that would probably look more unique than Shard of Azzinoth.
