Dream Team is a progression raiding guild first and foremost, with a heavy emphasis on guild Player vs. Player accomplishments in Cataclysm. Our goal is to conquer every end game instance, every hard mode, and every raiding achievement in each expansion. It is important that our members share this passion as it will be the driving force in our efforts to achieve success, and it is equally important that those who wish to join our ranks share that passion as well.

As such, we expect our members to be fully available to raid on their scheduled nights with consistency. We understand that real life happens and there may be times when you can’t raid with us. Our availability forum has been set up for that reason and we ask you to utilize them. For the most part, by joining our team you are stating that your fully available to raid with us on our 25man progression raid nights.

|
With that said, we are not a hardcore raiding guild. We do not raid 5-7 nights a week, but we will use many of the disciplines that hardcore guilds use to succeed (ie: effective communication, teamwork, time management, determination, focus, and persistence).

We start our raids on-time or we cancel the raid. This is because we highly value and respect our members’ time. Raids will be canceled by the Raid Leader 15 minutes after the scheduled Pull time if we can’t fill a raid. The last thing we want is to have half a raid ready to pull on time only to wait around wasting our members precious time waiting for more people to log on. We all have more important (fun) things to do than that. If you know you’re going to be late to a raid, please let us know how late you will be in our availability forum.

We currently have one to two openings on our Team for qualified
mages. |

Bump for mages! We need more people who like setting things on fire.

Yes, Rho is feeling lonely as the only mage. He needs a friend.

The Earned Points/Gear Points system is our adopted loot distribution system. Effort Points quantify the effort each member put towards the (common) guild goals and Gear Points quantify what each member got back in return. Loot priority is computed as the quotient of the two; priority (PR) is equal to EP divided by GP, or PR=EP/GP. Click here for more info. If an item drops that someone would like to roll on solely for the purpose of bettering their ability to PVP, the officers will determine if that item can be used to strengthen the guild towards raiding first. If it does not, the item will be open to roll on by anyone who can use it.

Dream Team is dedicated to raiding throughout Cataclysm as a 25 player progressive raiding guild. Although Dream Team leadership doesn’t consider the guild ‘hardcore’ in the sense of raiding frequency, we do employ a set of standards that ensure we’re hardcore in our achievements. The following raiding standards serve to keep us progressing, while allowing us as individual players the opportunity to play and have fun in a stress free environment.

I am interested in the position. I haven't done ANY endgame content during Cataclysm other than a few heroics. I am also still an Arcane Mage but I'm a quick learner and I'd love to play a Fire Mage. I also PvP as a Frost Mage and I'minterested in both arenas and Rated/Unrated BGs. Please let me know what I need to do to further the application process to your guild.
Thanks! |

We ask that if you’re scheduled for a raid, to be at the summoning stone or the raid instance at least 10 minutes prior to the first pull time. If you can’t make it, you are required to make a post in our raid availability forum. We realize that things come up, and we also realize that many other things do (and should) take priority over a game – all we ask for is some common courtesy so we can get someone into an open spot. If someone is absent and unheard from we’ll go ahead and offer an invite to another guild member in an attempt to keep the raid on time.

If we cannot fill the raid by 15 minutes after the posted first pull time we will call the raid. We value our members’ time, and as fun as hanging out in front of a meeting stone is, we realize you all have better things to do.
|
|
|
Additionally, we ask that members show up for raids repaired and with any required consumables and/or equipment they may need. What we expect is largely common sense: that people bring what resist gear/consumables they may need for a given encounter, that all tank/OT capable classes maintain and bring at least a rudimentary tanking set (e.g. a fury warrior should have their sword and board handy for those just in case moments), etc.
