Anyone else annoyed by all of the immature guild names? I mostly mean the ones that are like
(Insert Words) PVPness (Insert Words) or any other immature references...

Those are usally pvp focused guilds from what I've noticed. Not quite as business-like as a raiding guild can be.

Every time I read your name, I think about Marsellus Wallace and the unknown country of What.

I guess some people don't watch movies or read books.

http://howtotrainyourdragon.wikia.com/wiki/Hairy_Hooligans

The "Hairy Hooligans" are a viking tribe that lives on the Isle of Berk. Their chief is Stoick the Vast, and they are the central tribe in both the How to Train Your Dragon book and film.

The name isn't so immature now is it?

Suggest to the guild leaders of such guilds to consider running their name through an online latin translator, and buying another charter.

Hey my sister likes your guild name! She wants to apply. Is there an age requirement? she's 7.

That movie was rather awesome. But of course I tarnish my internet reputation by saying I like an animated movie.

Also: Hannah Montana Sleepover is recruiting.

False. "Stricter" naming conventions seem to be even more poorly enforced on RP servers than regular servers. It boggles the mind, but there you go.

Also I don't mind quirky guild names as long as they don't include words from the hipster dictionary. Unfortunately that thing gains pages worth of definitions on a daily basis.

We used to play a game in my old guild called "Guild of the day" where we would have some nice chuckles regarding these names. Ultimately I don't think it hurts anything and every once in a while you get to see some real cleverness. For Twenty Days was one of my favorites.
