Nice Guys "Team RNG" Recruiting

85 Blood Elf Paladin

About Nice Guys:

Nice Guys has been around since TBC and we are still strong to this day. In the beginning the guild was mostly interested in PvP but has since expanded to PvP and PvE. We excel in both and are on at all hours of the day to play with you, teach you, get to know you, and receive help from you in return. We were among the top 5 guilds on Blood Furnace during Wrath of the Lich King and we would like to maintain our position and strive for #1 in PvP and PvE, but we can only do that with your help!

At the moment the guild consists of two ten man raid groups and tons of friends. “Team RNG” raids on Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm -11:30 pm server, and the occasional Sunday raid from 6pm - 9pm server.

Please understand that if you apply to “Team RNG” you are also applying to Nice Guys, if you get accepted you will still need to be civil, helpful, and mature in guild chat. If any members outside of “Team RNG” have a valid reason and proof of why you should be kicked it will be discussed and possibly happen.

About Team RNG:

Due to some players not coming back after their breaks in Wrath of the Lich King and others missing out on Cataclysm to its fullest extent “Team RNG” has already been forced to miss raids, pull in people from other groups, or pull in people with sub-par gear/skill. This is unacceptable, as a very tight knit group we want a stable ten man raid group with people we can trust, depend on, laugh with, nerd rage with, and QQ about loot drops with.

We are a mature PvE dedicated raid group with members ranging from crazy football fanatics to turbo-nerds to stoners. All of our members have been around since either Vanilla or TBC, we have no Wrath babies. All of our members have strong raiding experience and most are skilled in multiple classes/specs.

Nice Guys Raid Progression:

Our current raid composition consists of:

-Blood Death Knight and Protection Warrior
-Holy Paladin and Holy Priest
-Balance Druid and Fire Mage
-Unholy Death Knight, Retribution Paladin, Assasination Rogue

As you can see we are missing one vital component of a solid ten man raid group, a third healer.

If you feel you can fit this slot please apply! We are most interested in:

One Restoration Shaman or One Restoration Druid

Due to a couple schedules possibly changing in the future we may also be interested in another tank or possibly even an exceptional DPS. That being said we only need one healer at this current moment in time, but we would gladly interview or even invite many others so please feel free to apply if you think you would be a great fit for “Team RNG”.

Some things to keep in mind while applying or considering applying:

-Our raid times are currently Tuesday and Thursday from 7 - 11:30 server time. If you can’t make those, DO NOT APPLY! We would love for you to be flexible in your raid availability as we may add a day here and there for progression and we may also switch a day later on in the future (we will always give you fair warning either way).

-For items that can be used by more than one raider we use a loot council consisting of three stable, honest, and intelligent members; one healer, one tank, and one DPS.

-If you can’t be the butt of a joke please do not apply, we don’t wantyou crying because you are overly emotional and someone said you were an ass monkey. If your emotions cause guild or raid drama we don’t need or want you.

-We understand that this is the beginning of a new expansion but we require our raiders to have a current average item level of at least 346+. You can easily obtain that by running heroics, becoming exalted with certain reputations and buying/finding items with either Justice Points or gold.

-At this point we would expect you to either be revered with the faction needed for your helm enchant or extremely close. The same goes for Therazane, if you are not already exalted you need to be very close and working towards it.

-As a member of the group you are obviously expected to be on at the scheduled raid times, but if that’s the ONLY time you’re on please don’t apply.

-It is early in the expansion and materials are expensive but you need to be actively working towards maxing out your professions. We wantraiders who help each other, the more max professions we have the more gems we can cut, the more enchants we can do, the more items we can make and the more materials we can gather.

-You are expected to have a general understanding of all the boss fights we will be encountering on any given raid night. We will always provide a refresher and highlight some of the very important aspects of a fight. Aside from a refresher you need to know the ins and outs and how it affects your class/position. Regardless of your position you should know how to fill it, and if you want to be an extraordinary raider know the positions of every raider and how to fill them as well.

-Do you plan on sticking around for the long haul? If you are considering transferring, considering raiding with your best friend in a different guild, have a possible promotion on the horizon, or will get bored of raiding in a month DO NOT APPLY!

-You are required to have ventrilo and a working microphone. Not only are they needed on almost every boss fight, we will also be performing your interview on ventrilo. Our website is not currently up to date/par with information/forums/application forms so we want to make sure you receive a proper interview process, that you DO have a microphone and that you get along well with our group in vent. That being said there is no form for you to fill out but some things to expect while interviewing are:

-A flexible and speedy time frame in which your interview can be preformed. Preferably it would be between the hours of 4pm – 12am server.
- A link to your armory page entered in your comment or URL section in vent.
-Multiple questions about your raid history, gear, gems, enchants, personality, rotation, wow activities, and overall play style.

Who to get a hold of about interviewing:

-Asterîus (alt+0238 for the i), Puffywuffy, or Jaylee
-If you do not see one of us online feel free to ask any guild member if they know if we are on an alt/available.

Thank you for your interest in Nice Guys’ “Team RNG” and we hope to raid with one of you very soon!
