I just did my living elements transmute today, and the proc only yielded 4 extra volatiles. Instead of the normal 14-16 that I've gotten in the past.
But the patch notes and hotfix lists on mmo-champion don't say anything about proc changes. Was this proc nerfed or is this a bug? |

I got 15 Air and an extra 8 earth proc last night. Maybe they just increased the range of the extra procs E.g. Chance to proc and extra 4-16 volatials
I don't know what the previous proc was but it might be the case. /shrug |

Same thing here - twice since the patch.
1st time: transmuting in Uldum, proc'd an extra 8 water 2nd time: also transmuting in Uldum, proc'd an extra 4 earth Prior to the patch, if I got a proc it was always in the 14-16 range for the extra volatiles. Even if it was changed to range, it's a nerf. A nerf to a profession that doesn't make that much $$ in the first place. :-( |

Gah so many people who are bad at maths. Can't tell if trolling.... or just stupid. |

Gah so many people who are bad at maths. They're not talking about the transmute mastery. |
What are they talking about then? proc only yielded 4 extra volatiles . Transmute procced and I got 4 extra volatile air extra 8 earth proc proc'd an extra 8 water |

Something does seem a bit different so here's the data from my past two days:
Yesterday went to Uldum, did the transmute and got an extra proc of 3 volatile fires. Went to Uldum today and got an extra proc of 4 volatile waters. In the past when I would get lucky and have an extra proc occur it would be for between 14-16 volatiles. So not exactly sure what's going on but I guess we'll just see in the coming days... |

It's too early to tell, but I had to guess I would say that the chance of getting a proc has gone up (possibly way up), while the number of volatiles obtained per proc has gone down.

I wanted to hop in and clarify and confirm there was in fact a change that was implemented with the patch that unfortunately did not make the patch notes.
The change actually adjusted the return on the transmutes so that you weren't getting spikes in the amount of items you'd get from the transmute. Instead, if you transmute over a period of time, the amount of the transmute return should even out. So basically if you transmute on a regular basis, you should see a more regular return on the transmute vs. a spike in large returns. Transmutation specialists will almost always get a PROC when transmuting living elements. |

Let me get this right, there should almost always be a proc now, it will just be smaller than before, but because we almost always get it, it will even out in the end? Correct?

If you expect a response from a BLue on that one way or the other, you will be waiting a LONG time...still waiting on Bashiok in the Druid forums after Blizzard moved a CLEAR BUG THREAD back there. |

Yeah they don't ever read Professions except by mistake, but from what Candle said, am I right or wrong?
