WoW locks up on accept agreement screen

Since the patch updated today WoW immediately freezes up on me at the end user license agreement screen.

If that doesn't help, can you post some computer information from the Direct X Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag)?

  • Hit the Windows key + R

  • Type in:

  • dxdiag
  • Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and Save a DxDiag text file.
Copy and paste everything from this section:

Yes, you can paste all of it in a post. After you paste the dxdiag stuff, highlight it all (or hit Ctrl-A on your keyboard). Do you see the Bold, Italics, Underline buttons? The 4th from the right says "pre", hit that one.

You don't have to do that, it just makes it easier to read. I can do it if you want.

It will be 50 min. before the file downloads. Seems there were quite a few drivers that are outdated including a mouse driver.

I found out what the problem is and fixed it.

((Windows 7? If so, right mouse click on the desktop and select Personalize. Select Display on the left, and then set the Display settings back to 100%. ))
