No, no, no, no, no, no, no. And why should you or any other player be handed things that were intended to be difficult to get in the first place? |

Those filthy elitists! How arrogant of them to desire things that they couldn't get when they had the chance! HOW DARE THEY! |
|
Drop rates need to stop, I'm sick of it.
Go to farm a mount and after 60 tries then nothing for somebody who actually wants the mount, then somebody who doesn't give a damn about the mounts gets it on there first 1-2 tries. Pure bull!%@%. |
It's not that they desire them. I desired getting Atiesh, however, I couldn't. It's the fact that they want special treatment. And it's the demanding of special treatment that makes someone an elitist. No one who went out to get the Warbear or any mount or item that has been removed from the game asked for special treatment or demanded to get it when it wasn't even hard to get. They followed the course the dev's laid out for them to get the item(s). Look at what a joke Thunderfury is. It's nothing but Trade spam now. |

You're coming off as a bigger elitist than anyone else here. "NO YOU DON'T DESERVE ANYTHING. YOU SHOULD'VE DONE IT WHEN IT WAS IN THERE." God forbid people want a second chance at it. Like say a... Heroic 85 ZA or something. But nope, you want your exclusivity all to yourself and nobody deserves it more than you. |

It is not about weither or not I have the skills required to get them, what really pisses me off is the fact there is no way to get those friggin mounts... they removed them! |
No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Just like PvP titles, no? |

No, no, no, no, no, no, no. This has got to be a troll. The flaming stupid burns. Why shouldn't there be? These mounts rewarded players for doing something exceptionally difficult during the time they were in game, in most cases - like the Amani War Bear. Others rewarded players for spending an inordinate amount of their time grinding - like the Zulian Tiger. Still others awarded a select few for accomplishing an amazing feat - getting up to 100 players to work together to help with the opening of Anh Quarji , or defeating an instance that even when it had been outpassed by content such as Sunwell, was still incredibly hard to clear with geared 70s (Original Naxx 40 and Atesh) We have unique titles that rewarded guilds for completing incredibly hard raid content (such as Hand of A'dal, or Light of the Dawn) Why should you, at 85, be able to go in and cakewalk your way through to rewards that people had to work incredibly hard to recieve? I would love to have the myriad of titles and achievement rewards I got in BC and WOTLK on this character as I have on my Paladin that I've played for five + years. It won't, and shouldn't happen. You know, I sometimes think people like this are ones that turn out to be entitled far-leftists later in life. They should get everything good, because other people have it. |

No and no.
And yes I have one. And I like being a special snowflake. I had to do that stupid place twice a week for so many months seeing people come in and win it on their first run then never coming back to help, finally #*!%@ing and pleading my way to having the raid leader master loot it to people that have been helping with those runs since the beginning and had bad dice. |
No and no.You realize a lot of people paid in game gold for theirs? |

It's not that the skilled players don't want you to have it. It's that they want you to earn it, just like they did. If the mount takes skill in raiding to obtain or long hours of grinding it has value. What gives it value is that it was earned. When everyone gets a mount it's no longer a 'rare' mount and so loses the value that the players worked hard to earn. |

Do we ever use ground mounts anymore outside of TB?
