When I click on the WoW icon it says "Launcher cannot obtain patching information. Please check internet configuration." And clearly I'm connected to the internet by posting this, and it all of a sudden started happening. Any help?

Same thing is happening to me... Anyone else have some thoughts? i went in and tried to load up from the Launcher.exe and same thing popped up.
Double checked my internet and its all fine Can someone provide insight for this problem? |

Some proxy settings may interfere with a download or with connecting to the game. Please open up Internet Explorer, click on "Tools" then "Internet Options". Now go to the "Connections" tab and click on the button that says "LAN settings". Make sure that "Automatically detect settings" is checked, and that you are not using a proxy server. Click "OK." Then test to see if this helped. Try some of the steps here : http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/issue-applying-patch-mac. Also, this thread is over a year old. Please start your own thread for best visibility.
