[A] <Grown Ups> (Korgath-US) is a small, adult guild focused on 25 man raid content. The guild was created over 2 years ago and we're currently focusing on clearing Dragon Soul. You can find more information at our website: http://grown-ups.us

We are currently recruiting for ALL ROLES, including 1-2 tanks, 1-2 healers and several dps. If you have a strong offspec, that will greatly strengthen your application.

Raid Times: Invites go out at 8:30 Server Time (CST). First Pull is at 9:00, if not sooner.

Wednesday/Thursday/Sunday: 25-man
Monday: 10-man

We describe ourselves as semi-hardcore because our player base consists of adults with family and professional commitments. And while we respect that outside obligations may prevent raid attendance, we expect our members to participate as often as life allows.

Although our attendance requirements may make <Grown Ups> semi-hardcore, our raids are organized and executed with a serious and aggressive attitude towards progression. We expect our members to arrive for raids armed with the appropriate spec, consumables, and a thorough knowledge of the encounters. We utilize the EPGP loot system.

Ideal applicants meet the following criteria:
- Experience with current raid encounters. Hard mode experience is highly valued.
- ilvl 370+ gear.
- A mature attitude. 18 years of age or older at a minimum. 21+ is preferred. We will not tolerate drama.
- Eager to attend raids whenever real life obligations permit.

First off I'm not looking to join a guild. I don't have 25 man raid experience other than BH, which shouldn't count. I am a fairly new player, started about a month before Cata. I know most of the fights very well and know my class well.

I'm interested in your 25 man raid nights, honestly I'd like to go as RET (350) but can go holy (353) if melee is already filled up. I'm 31 and do have some obligations, I can't make thursday nights ever, I have a year round obligation thursday nights that I can't break for gaming. However I would be available both tuesday and Sunday.

On my lock I am 6/12, my lock is my main for my guild. On this toon I am 5/12. Our guild is progressing and still gearing up. We are in the process of making an alt group but I need to raid while that is still being developed. I'm not getting enough VP each week on this toon.

Ultimatly in the next month or so our guild is going to be progressing and I will need to be more involved with my guild raiding at that point. So I wouldn't be able to make a commitment to stay for the long run. I just want to b upfront that I'm not sure how long I would be able to raid with your guild.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in lmk.

Maybe you could post your schedule for the 25, for example do you run BWD on tuesday, then BOT thursday and so on. So I could have a feel for what I could get an idea of what I would be missing thursday nights.

EDIT - Wanted to add that my brother has a 346+ fury/prot warrior, I'm sure he wants to do the additional raiding with me.

Looks like they raid a lot on Tuesday's bro. You should be a shoe in for the spot.

Although we would absolutely love to carry your inexperienced and sub-par geared characters through T11 content only to see you ditch us as soon as is convenient for your guild, we are unfortunately not looking for "sorta raiding" paladins at this time. Perhaps you should try contacting Burning Sensations or Dread and see if they are in a welfare-giving mood.

How in the world is this a "Grown Up" reponse.

I was straight forward with my expectations and availability. Nice post, really shows your true colors. I'm sure others will excitied to join up with such a lovely crowd.

pretty sure you still missed the point that you're telling them you can raid on Tuesdays...and they don't even raid on Tuesdays.

How do you expect a person or guild rep to respond when you're essentially asking to join a guild to get experience or (be carried) and then just randomly drop out of the picture to go back to your original guild that's apparently not doing good?

Common sense isn't a strong point in majority of the people playing the game these days, and instead of focusing on, "How was that a grown up response?" maybe you should pay attention to your unrealistic expectations of joining a semi-hardcore guild.

You're telling them about your obligations to another guild, not your obligations to your real life job, wife, kids, or anything that pertains to being a "grown up."
