Resto shaman mana regen is fine and they have the most powerfull raid wide mana regen tool in mana tide totem.
All healing classes are capable of healing well and how they do falls mostly on the player. Seeing as your dps, there is alot more to healing then the HPS numbers on recount and if you wanna base your success off of meters then stay dps because healing is about the whole raid and not the one player. As long as you keep people alive then you did your job well and every healer is capable of that, some are just a little easier/have more raid cooldowns then others.
Right now Disc Priets and Holy Paladins tend to be among the strongest healers. But the other 4 healing specs are not to far behind. Keep in mind that this is just right now and things tend to change as new patches and new tier content is released.
I would also add - the "best" healer won't be the best if you don't enjoy it and feel comfortable with it.
But look over the styles. See what feels like it suits you. And remember, you can have a "less powerful" healer and outperform the flavor of the month just by getting experienced and comfortable with your tools, and using them properly.
And a bonus for you - 4 of the healing classes have melee dps options, so you won't even have to lock yourself to casting.
