Could always recruit off-server. Thats where half of Been-There-Quit-Here came from!

you remember that twobit horde thread from a while back? It's not that they can't recruit people it's that they can't keep people because they all hate each other's guts.
I've always found guilds full of trolls and miserable people can actually run fine as long as progression keeps pace...but as soon as that first road block comes...oh boy! fun times! |
Psh. <Juice> is full of trolls and miserable people, and we're still going strong even though we haven't gotten anything done in weeks. :D |

Oh I heard the majority of your miserable people (except Eberle) were on some sort of hiatus...hence Luxus' dead guild chat comment.
I also assumed there was some reason behind the hiatus beyond the coincidence of a bunch of your key players taking a break at the exact same time...I didn't bother to dig any deeper though it's not by business and I don't much care. |

Yeah, we could have. I know what you mean, but it's hard to convince people to come here. It's already past fixing anyway at this point I think. Jinx tried to merge with quite a few guilds to improve numbers, but no one was having it. I guess most of the guilds here are happy playing third to last fiddle.
Also, Nakor had a point. I didn't like almost half the people that I raided with anyway, and I'm sure they didn't like me either. (Though no road block was ever really hit because of that specifically. I mean, it's no coincidence that we downed two progression bosses the week of that snow storm when the good players didn't have other @%** to do.) Just one of those things and probably a matter of time, and a nice excuse to hang up the druid. Though I would still like the Defender title if anyone needs a pro ass healer for Nef. winkwinkwinkwinkwinkwinkwink EDIT: Also, looks like you guys found a nice place to go to. Grats to you guys, definitely deserved. |

I got married, so thats why I haven't been playing. Word is, Monkey has choir. Until he says otherwise it'll be choir. Then again.. it'll always be choir in vent. |

AMG u have no idea what we went thru to find a home.. about 4 diff guilds.. 4 diff realms.. 2 faction changes.. it took too much time and money, but i started cata with full intentions of staying on top. Too bad I had to leave nazgrel to do so, it'll always be home! Don't quit raiding though, ur too good of a resto druid to stop- don't let downs defeat u.. BTW defender title isn't much, its all about Blackwing's Bane! haha |

^^ definatly to this. But were happy in TF, took alot of money and time to find the right place but it was worth it. Tbh If your looking for hard modes in Cata if the content difficulty remains constant you'll only be doing normal modes on nazgrel unless the top guilds ever joined up. Bite the bullet get a friend and xfer IMO

Eh. Maybe Horde-side.
Seems like all of our key players are doing some sort of ridiculous work/vacation/real-life-commitment rotation, insuring that at least one of them is always gone. I feel comfortable saying we'd be at least 4/13 right now if we hadn't taken about 4 weeks off of raiding so far due to personnel. We're more than capable of at least Heroic Atramedes, Maloriak, Conclave, and Chimaeron. Anyway. I'm sure everyone has sob stories. I'd just like to have moar bosses dead, and am sure we could if not for dumb stuff : / |

I think everyone's pretty much stopped playing. I only know a few people who are continuing to raid at this point. I don't even think it's the difficulty so much as it is just that this expansion isn't that fun. It's got no... atmosphere.. or something.. I don't know.
That seriously sounds like a huge pain in the ass to move that much, but finding somewhere nice is probably worth it. It's a pretty big game so finding the right place is way hard. I'm glad you guys found it though. And I appreciate the kind words <3, but druid's way too boring. I even told you before Cata that I didn't wanna play druid! And dude, Blackwing's Bane, I'm definitely going to be a months behind all-star when it comes to that. I don't know if I enjoy raiding that much to even try to get that any time soon, but I'm definitely jealous of you for having it.
I can see this. I don't think Nazgrel's the right place for any kind of competitive raiding for anyone. Nice place to call home I'm sure, but not a good place to have fun. |
