Official system requirement page for Cataclysm: http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/minimum-system-requirements-for-world-of-warcraft
Minimum System Requirements* Note: Due to potential programming changes, the Minimum System Requirements for this game may change over time. *There's no requirement for video cards because all video cards that shipped for Intel Macs are supported. Recommended Special Note: Mac OS X 10.4.11 is now below minimum requirements but WoW should still run on it. Because 10.4.11 is not officially supported anymore, WoW could stop functioning correctly at anytime. We recommend that all 10.4 users upgrade to 10.6. ________________________________________________ Mac Tech Support for Baaaaahlizzard Entertainment Not finding what you need here? More info from S4d1k about system requirements (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2325684906):
If you do not have 10.5.8 or 10.6.8, you MUST install the latest MacOS X update. |

A bit more about why to do these changes from Zombie Sheep:
Just to add a bit on what S4d1k is saying, Apple releases important updates that can affect the way our game runs. This includes crashing, graphical errors, connection, etc. Here are ways to update your OS to the latest version. Easy way aka Software Update
2. Make sure all updates are checked and hit Install. Note: A restart is required for OS X updates Better way aka Combo Update/Delta Update (depending on which model Mac you have)
