Honestly I think the server has gotten better, with Drak'Tharon changing from a low populated server to a New Players server we've gotten a lot more people on here. They maybe be a bunch of newbies, but who wasn't a newb? Most might stay noobs, but some will become great raiders. Hopefully with this more people will also transfer back/to our server from over populated servers or the new players have friends on other servers and they decide to transfer over here. Thanks Blizzard this really helped out in my opinion.



Also, Almost Serious is recruiting players (Newbs included ;P).

Yeah, but it's going to be at least a month before you see any of them reach max level. What would help most is server transfers....

I've seen a few already almost level 60, not to mention there are people already coming over with friends and making DKs. One step at a time dear friend x].

And the Horde shouldn't be complaining all that much ;P Have you guys seen the Alliance side before this? We were lucky to even have 5 people in Stormwind.
(My Guild last I'm I checked had 38 Account in it. Prior to that it had maybe 8. /guildinfo)

100% agree with OP, we are seeing a lot more players coming to the server, and while you may have to teach them how to do some things, it isn't all that hard or annoying

I do wish we could have more transfers, but bliz can't make people transfer here

I started back to WoW this morning after not playing it since pre-BC. Was originally on Shadowmoon, figured it'd be nice to get a new start and saw that this server was apparently 'new'. Talked my brother into switching over, he has 2 85's, couple 80's, and some 70's(ALLY)...also bringing over his/my friends... there was a LOT of lowbie's leveling around Darnassus today when I started....good things in the future for this realm.

New here, just resub'd and rolling a new character. Hoping for good things to come to the server.

I'm in the same situation as Guyabano. I hadn't played WoW since 2006 but I restarted last week and it's been a ton of fun. I was kind of confused when I started back up that there were practically no toons in the starting zones (and total silence in Barrens chat... o.0), but that's definitely changed in the past couple of days. It looks like the population is growing pretty rapidly.

Myself and my 2 friends re-rolled here last night. We are late night players and are used to ghost towns...however, the newbie zones from 2am server until 4:30 am server had ~20 people playing...

If this is any indication of future raiding population then the server may be looking in better shape. Granted, most won't hit max level, it's a start....at least from what I've gathered from other people posting in this thread ! :)

I rolled an alt here for fun ^.^. Having to teach a lot of new players a lot of things, lets hope that some of the players are serious and continue on their WoW journey, instead of just trial accounts.

new players are good you can teach them what you want but also you have to deal with them rerolling classes every week. so if you can if its a friend thats just picking up wow please help them out with classes race ect. if you have lvl 85s and need help on glyphs specs ect ect go to www.wowpopular.com its a very helpful page. and for addons at lvl 85 i highly suggest reforgenator it helps for what spec you are and what you are wanting to do in that spec. =] thank you all who are rerolling/transfering to Drak' Tharon ive been here for 4 years and i am sad to see what has happened but we will rise again it just takes time.

While not a new player, I have returned after about a 2 year hiatus. I have new characters as my account was compromised during that time frame and I lost everything (Blizz is working on retrieving everything). Having a bit of a problem communicating in game with people at the moment since it still has me flagged as a trial account.

Anyhow, I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. I will probably be looking for a guild to join in the near future, so feel free to drop me a line if interested.

Formerly a Tauren druid that swapped between Resto and Feral as needed, so I have some history in healing, DPS, and tanking.

I've been on this server for two weeks and I've seen it grow quickly over those two weeks. Really, we're in good shape for the future. The population shrinkage may have hurt, but now, this server gets to build itself up in a new image. Nothing like a "fresh" start.

Yeah, I am seeing a lot of Alliance populating starting regions. There were 30+ Alliance characters around 6-12 in level all in Goldshire Saturday evening, many trying to expel the half dozen Horde that were assaulting it.

Like the above, I had an account comprimised so I decided to leave it behind and buy new keys and make a new account. Start about 8 days ago, level 60 already.. and the dungeon ques/pvp ques/ and almost every city (homed city or not) is very populated from what older posts (month old posts etc) says. I hope everyone sticks here a d makes it to cap level. See you at 85 (hopefully within another week).

Well its great new people are coming but at the same time when serious raiders and endgame progression is failling behind due to lack of Skilled maxxed characters rather than fresh toons it hurts the server. "new server" usually scares off new transfers or atracks guilds that want easy server firsts lol, But nonetheless its good to see new alts/mains people and new faces in the forums. Lvl faster and gear up. Hardmodes are awaiting.. hopefully server will be a little better for firelands but not sure if most of us will see be here for that.

Tsham one good thing about new players is their willingness to learn. Having raid lead and done end game/server firsts with top guilds etc for the past 6 years....I know well enough the usual baddies in your raid are stubborn and know-it-alls. I've taught a lot of new players how to play and are now in top guilds. One is in your guild now haha. Just be patient. Teaching someone new is easier than teaching a mediocre vet.

I am new account and am trying to learn as fast as I can. Just got out to stv. Might be leveling out of there soon. I was in a dungeon with guildies less than 5 minutes from joining the group.

They are fun group so far.
Can't wait to play more later tonight.

Hope to make some gold soon!
