Arg, my ride has come to an end. I was about to log off and I checked my statistics and it says I have 1 creature killed (humanoid). I don't have a clue when it happened as I was never in combat around anyone or any guards that I'm aware of. Nor did I accidentally attack a critter (I still have only done 41 total points of damage ever and that was from my accidental frog hit that didn't kill him.)
Talk about depressing. Now I have to decide if it's worth continuing on or not... |

I've had 2 close calls so far. First was on auto-run in Elwynn Forest and I was using the mouse to steer. I went to turn to head towards an herb and a frog hopped right under my cursor! I hit it for 41 out of it's 42 health in 1 shot. Fortunately I was able to hit escape and keep running. I did check my achievements about a dozen times though over the next half hour making sure I didn't get a kill on it. I've spent most of my time equipped with a fishing rod. Only started using weapons now because I need them for Sap very hard to hurt things with just a fishing rod |
Talk about depressing. Now I have to decide if it's worth continuing on or not... I am so sorry. :( The choice is all yours of course. As a personal experience I have learned to live with it. It's really a matter of why you are doing that challenge. Is it for perfection or for the feel and satisfaction of having done your best knowing that, like in real life, things don't always work out and you do your best with the cards you are dealt. If you are striving for a perfect record then re-rolling has one advantage... the next time it's way faster as you know what to do and what to avoid. It's also kinda repetitive as you just did this, but ultimately you get to obtain your goal which is the perfection of reaching 85 with no kills. :) If what you seek is to do your best while having fun, you can put this kill behind you. It's only a stat. You wouldn't know if you didn't check! A fist is also your friend as it deals a lot less damage then a weapon! :) Though you do have that cool BoA staff I doubt you'd like to lose. Still might be why something dies if you didn't use any pacifying spells on a mob to tag it. Best of luck whatever you choice to do :) |

Sounds like a large project to undertake, nicely done.
I leveled my paladin 80-85 via archaeology and that was maddening enough, you are apparently much more patient than I. =p |

Wow...
That should be a Feat of Strength. |

Lol, I'm going to actually going to try this because of you. But I feel a bit scared to.

You got an honorable mention in the mmo-report.
Head to mmo-champion.com, it's on the main page. You should check it out if you haven't already. |

Nor did I accidentally attack a critter (I still have only done 41 total points of damage ever and that was from my accidental frog hit that didn't kill him.) I started over and I'm avoiding Loch Modan this time. Both of my kills came from the patting guards there. I made it to 15 without any kills and headed to Loch Modan to explore it and gather while there. I never hit anything or rooted anything close to the road but the guards killed mobs that were chasing me. I will just wait to go there when I am a higher level this time around and hopefully not aggro a bear in passing. I will say the 15 levels I did, were an eye opener. I found myself looking for ways to nodes and ways out that would aggro the least amount of mobs. If there were too many mobs to deal with, I got creative with ways to get to it. Shadowmeld and kitty prowl are lifesavers. |
