Proud to be a BoondockSaint

This game can get really competitive. I see a lot of "hatin'" amongst factions and guilds. It's bound to happen, some people have a worse character than others, but that's one of the reasons why World of Warcraft is such a great game... it embraces all personalities, lifestyles, beliefs, ethnicites. We can all be part of it and we all find our "niche," call it PvP'ing, raiding, crafting, questing, etc... (Did you know there is a guild that got to level 25 ONLY by gathering? That's just amazing!)

That being said, in the midst of all the forum trolling, I wanted to take some time to say how proud and happy I am to be a BoondockSaint. I refused to play the game for 2 years and I gave my husband a lot of wife aggro. Roles turned around when I decided to give it a try (Hah!). I really don't care if I get to be the best raider or have the most HKs (I still like my achievements, though!); I love this guild because we're friends, because we appreciate each other, because we work together to be good, because people travel to meet and get together in real life. Because at the end of the day, what we care about is the human being behind the character.

I see this forum and I read a lot of hurtful comments, but I know flaming will always be a part of the game. I'm known to have whined repeatedly about PvP servers because I hate getting ganked by horde (Yes, I'm fail at PvP and I'm OK with that, but Blizzard didn't give me the option to carry a white flag saying "Please, don't kill me, I'm just questing.") -- I'm gearing on PvP out of necessity, LOL -- Truth is, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

So thank you, Saints, for all your hard work and your friendship. Congratulations on level 25!

I've always kinda found a majority BoondockSaints to be a little.. "neeeh" (insert your own meaning for that word), but there are in fact some pretty cool people there (like the immortal Sam, for example), and its always nice to see an Azshara alliance guild stay intact for so long. Congrats on managing to do something that most other Azshara alliance guilds can't, which is not break up/xfer/ragequit. That in itself is a feat.

I'd even go so far as to say you should take pride in the fact that you are so "bad" that people take time out of their day to give you @@## for it. Someone had to take Relavare's place on this server, take that as an honor rather than an insult. Look at it this way, you could be TOSA, we've always kinda been "the other baddies down the street", and not much else. Congrats on 25, and keep on truckin'!

Also, tell ur gildeez to rAge moar pl0x, it maekz 4 gud reedin.

Anyone who plays Alliance on this server, where the auction house is always sparse and sad while the Horde outnumber you probably 5 to 1 at times causing a whole host of issues, probably deserves a medal.

I can be on my SEKRET ALLY 85 before midnight my time and who 1-85 and get less than 49 results on occasion. I mean, thats pretty low pop right there.

Nice PR campaign to cover the large number of Boondocks that were being whiney little QQloot malcontents in Stormwind during the final push towards that which so many of you wanted but failed to achieve.

I know Trizilla IRL, and she is one the nicest people I have ever met, so the trolling accusation doesn't stick. I'm grateful that I have met such great peeps like her and her hubs, and for the opportunity to play in such an awesome guild that not only happens to be good at what they do, but still makes playing the game fun.

I don't think the Boondocks even know how to troll. Until recently, I thought they didn't even know what the forums were, and I've seen them talk in trade maybe once a month at best.
