There are 168 guilds that have downed Heroic Nef. And most of them are already under Blizz' employ. That's WHY they downed Heroic Nef - Blizz gives them gear and bonuses and money to finish content. The rest of us who aren't part of the chosen ones have to fight really hard for acceptance because we know that our personalities aren't in line with the chosen ones who say things like 'u bad!'. And Blizz keeps supporting those people and their condescending attitudes.

..Wat.

Best part about working for Blizz: they're a 10 minute drive from Disneyland. Eeeeeeeeee....

Temp and hourly? ROFL Sorry, as much as I like your games and would love to "make" games and/or "make them better", I'll stick with my 6 figure engineering job that is way more secure in this day and age of Obama. Besides, Cali's economy is screwed up more than most with high taxes to boot.

I noticed that the job is 'temporary' and 'paid by the hour'..

I'll bet the position would look great on anyones CV who is interested in a career in game development.

Technically, if I remember right, any company can sponsor a work visa.

They can, but they also have to be able to prove, if the immigration asks them, that no such qualified workers could be found in the States. It may take months depending of the job/visa before you can finally get it, unless you visit a lawyer specialized in such procedures to speed up the process. There are also other details I can't remember atm from the top of my head. Been reading on such things since I'm planning to move to the US within the next year to live with my fiancé. The information should be avialable on the US gouv. website.

I would totally apply if I was an actual hardcore raider, but I only consider myself semi-hardcore(softcore) at most. And I haven't raided in Cata at all due to the extra time my internship has been taking along with my classes =/


Edit: To whoever said the hardcore raiders are already mostly working for Blizz, you're completely off. If anything, they're sponsored to keep progressing as fast as they do. And that's not by Blizzard.

California has a horrible economy. It's infested with violence, drugs, illegal immigrants, and a whole slew of other things that make this state horrible.

Only full-time positions at our headquarters in Irvine, California are available, so if you're serious about applying be aware that no telecommuting is possible for employment. But with the Blizzard campus offering an on-site cafeteria, library, volleyball and basketball courts, gym, multiple arcades, and movie theater, (not to mention we're 30 minutes from the beach) why would you want to?

There is nothing Blizzard isn't awesome at.

Ok, the temporary part of the job is terrible, but why is everyone complaining about being hourly??? Do you not want to be compensated for your work with 1.5 or double time pay? Most salary employees do not make overtime money, instead getting comp time or comp days. Id rather be paid for the hours I put in at a premium.

That sounds like fun!, currrently attending college, working on a degree in game design.
