I think that's exactly what she has in mind, but only part of it. Remember, being sidhe, Mab can't really deal directly with mortal enemies, which clearly is what she's facing with the Black Council. That's what she needs Harry for--as the winter knight.
Now the fomor are a whole different kettle of fish. The Leanansidhe has already taken a direct role against them in the mortal realm. Not a small thing (but a very brief thing, if you're on the recieving end of what she can do...). Methinks we'll see some real fireworks on this front in the next book.
Book 14 Release Date!!
Yeah, been keeping on eye out for some (any!) clue on when Cold Days might release. Butcher is a disciplined writer and pretty good about keeping to a schedule (unlike a certain other author of a long running series...), so I'd expect it before too awful long.
At a guess, I'd say fall. Generally, it's a book a year, soooooooo....fall.
That's terribly appropriate considering Cold Days. I wonder if we'll see any throwaway GRRM references in the new book. "A wizard always pays his debts." Or "You know what my house words are? Fire and Blood."
There better be at least one Gandalf reference in Cold Days or I will be disappointed...
"I so called it. Gandalf all the freaking way."
"I come back to you now, at the turn of the tide."
