Remote Guild Chat
|
|
I am enjoying this feature on my cell phone, but would like to make a suggestion. Some times I am at home have access to my computer working on other things on my computer would like to see my guild chat but don't want to fully log into the game. It would be nice to have a small thing in the launcher that could open up guild chat let you chat and watch chat with out having to power up the full game client.

I came here trying to find the option for remote armory in my browser. I'm at work and can't play the game, but it would certainly be nice to use my PC here instead of my fiddly little mobile to use guild chat/AH etc.
Any plans? |

I agree, I would like the feature on the a PC instead of just a mobile phone!

I'll add my voice to this. Make it part of the sign in of battle.net? Or part of the armory here online. I know that there are times I'm waiting for guildies to come on so we can do runs and such. That way, I'm not sitting on the server in SW taking up space that another player could be using at that point.
Hopefully I'm making some sort of sense here lol. I might even pay extra for this service if it was available. Why just iPhones/androids? |

I'd love to see this as well. Huge utility for WoW players to be able to log into guild chat via web browser. I'm an officer in my guild that would benefit greatly from being able to keep in touch with people during the day while at work.

Yes, lets see it for browser, too, Blizzard!

I'd love this too. I use it on my iPhone, but I'd love a browser version included in the Remote option that we subscribe to.

i'd certainly like to see that as well

We should keep bumping this. I would love to have the ability to be able to chat with my guildies when I am out at sea. I mean, through activity feed I can see their progress anyway, but having the chat option available through the browser would be awesome! Please implement!!! :D

I agree make it happen =D also i hear that if you phone emulators and with some work you can make it happen

I would also love to see a PC version of this. Either something integrated into the battle.net website, something within the game launcher or even a separate app for it (like AIM). My biggest complaint is that anytime my screen turns off I get logged out of the chat.95% of the time I have access to a computer, whether it be my office, home office or laptop, so it would be nice.

Bump! Blizzard please make this happen! =)

I would like to see this as well.
Another option for the time being is to install the Android SDK on your PC, run the app via the SDK, and use it from your computer in that fashion. (This idea was not my own, but was found on another site.) |

On the same note, I think it would be nice to do the same with with our real id friends. Maybe a battle.net chat client or even build into the website so that i can talk to my realid friends without having to be logged into wow or sc2.

Don't have a smart phone plan because I pay for World of Warcraft. Please give us web guild chat. Please? (I asked very nicely.)

I go to a college that is in a valley and gets absolute crap for signal so I am unable to use my wow remote without draining my battery because it's trying to access the wifi. I spend a lot of my time at the school at the library and it would be SOOO nice if I could use the remote chat on the computer so I can chat with my wonderful friends and guildies in the few hours I have to sit and wait for my brother to get out of class before I can go home and back on the computer. To me $3 a month for this service isn't bad, and I would be willing to pay a few more bucks to get to do this on a computer (because like its been said before, some people just can't use their phones, or its easier using a keyboard than a little touch screen or mini keyboard.) Yes Blizzard, you get a crap ton of money from us! Make us remote users who are paying you an additional $3 a month happy!!!!!

Bump! This would be brilliant. I frequently would like to be sociable without using the system resources to run the game - when rendering and such, my slightly elderly mac has plenty to be getting on with! I'd love it if I could use my iPhone app in a full-on mac version. Bring the chat!
