In-realm pugs only?

That isn't just a coincidence. Many players have stated since the release of the Dungeon Finder that they like the convenience of being matched for a group automatically, but they miss the feeling of community when they're paired with strangers from other realms with whom they might never speak again. So we made a slight change in the way the Dungeon Finder sorts through the queue matching players for a dungeon.

This was a late addition to the patch notes made yesterday evening:

The Dungeon Finder will attempt to place players from the same realm in a party together.

This will help out a lot. On Quel'Thalas Trade Chat is constantly filled with horror stories of "They booted me because I can't speak English!!" I've noticed that since patch I've been in a lot more groups with people from Drakkari and Ragnaros.

It doesn't really bother me personally, because I speak English, but there's a lot of people on Q'T who don't and it's a real thorn in their side and I'm sure it's a pain for English speakers as well to have somebody in the group that they can't communicate with.

The downside is that I'm not going to be able to get away with charging nice gold for my translation services anymore :(

I'm a fan. I queued separately from a tank friend (unknowingly) due to both of us having Call to Arms, and ended up in the same ZG. I got a good tank, she got a good healer, and we both got loot bags at the end.

Full of win.

Which makes more oddity, because spanish and portuguese are more similar than english and portuguese.

True, but Spanish and Portuguese are different enough to be a pain, while you have to take into account that here in Latin America only about the top 5% of rich kids have access to this game, meaning they also have access to education, meaning most of them can speak English, but not so many of them speak Spanish or Portuguese. English is the international language...the problem is the folks on Spanish realms that can't speak English which I'm very happy to report that this patch is going to help fix A LOT of.

Will it be possible to allow players to disable the feature? I hate to say it but there are a lot of bad players on Shandris and I would rather run with people off realm.

I suspect that some of the people wanting this feature to be optional are the people who are making the LFG so horrid.

Because now if you have one or two server side people in your group and you're a complete douche it will follow you back to your server and start to affect you unlike before.

Not all I'm sure, but that is the reason for some.
