We the members of Something Wicked seek enjoyment first and foremost through camaraderie and mutual respect. As much as we value our experiences in the game we truly value our time outside of the game. Something Wicked is a guild of real people with real lives that like to escape to the entertainment of the game. We seek maturity in our membership and character in ourselves and our associations. Our expectations are simply to treat people fairly, collaborate whenever possible, and make absolutely certain we laugh as much as possible. The World of Warcraft provides a monthly subscription to the theme parks that are Azeroth, Outland, and Northrend and we mean to make the most of it.

We aim to:
• Raid at the highest level, with solid progression.
• Be a high raid-attendance guild, with a fairly stable membership.
• Contain skilled players, who take the game seriously and enjoy the challenge that endgame raiding presents, as well as casual gamers who simply enjoy playing.
• Contain mature, friendly, enthusiastic players, who are prepared to work for the guild, not just have the guild work for them.
• Raid several times a week, but not every night of the week. We accept that WoW is a hobby and not a lifestyle.

We are also happy for our non-raiding members to do other things - from PvP to leveling to simply running dungeons. We hope to be able to offer a home to skilled players looking for solid progression, without the exceptionally high time commitment required of world-leading guilds, as well as a home to wayward players to relax and enjoy time with their friends. You should not view us as a "stepping stone" to other types of guild.

We pride ourselves in making decisions as a council of officers vice dictatorship (i.e. the GM's ideas are the only ideas that are acceptable). Whenever possible, all officers will discuss any issues or guild changes before anything has been implemented. If a consensus of the officer council is not made, then either one of the CO-GMs or the GM will have the overall decision authority.
