Seeing as it starts from a quest(or i think thats what i read) I dont think this legendary will come with a "get 40 shards from a raid" that would be a HUGE issue seeing as everyone in a guild that has cleared 12/12 normal bosses can start the quest...25 man guild prolly 10+ caster dps...shards would be WAY too big an issue.

We're doing something wholly unprecedented in the history of World of Warcraft, by making the acquisition of this Legendary result in a pet for the whole group responsible. Never before has an entire guild been able to acquire any kind of item for helping a member acquire an item or achievement.

We thought that was pretty cool.

I dont recall reading that this legendary will come with an exclusive mount? maybe i have just not kept updated...

You're going to be able to transform into Tarecgosa, like the Sandstone Drake.

...my mind...its been *%*@ed...I get a glowing tabard and a ground mount on my ret pally and they get to turn into that amazing magestical looking Tarecgosa to fly around...surely you are kidding...seeing as i have no caster in any position to get it and wouldnt want it if not on my main..really /unsubscribe...i mean, sure i understand everyone cant have everything the same, there are warlock horses, pally horses and what not, but seriously turning into that amazing looking Dargon and flying around, thats just too much if you ask me, unless they make it a BOE thing to learn like how shadowmourne mount was BoE.

I guess what makes it so legendary is making it so impractical to obtain that people don't even try. Great game you made, guys.

AHHMmmm...ummmmm? DUH?...like damn, at least the rewards and *#!@ that my ret pally earned were BOE so if someone really wanted them on a toon that couldnt get weap it was possible.

...it was mean...Good to know that you agree that this is beyond the top in awesomeness...makes me feel better that my legendary just came last raid and i wont be getting one til next xpac prolly, Id understand a reward for legendary such as this IF they implemented multiple legendaries, so everyone could go and fly...but everytime i see a Tarecgosa ugh.../cry...at least make new Sulfurus legendary xD(with the ability to turn into the legged ragnaros and walk in giant 1000% speed strides) cause thats wut legendaries are about now. /rant over /sleep

Hoping Daxxarri will have time to answer a slightly OT question....

Legendaries have never been snorendaries when it comes to PvP.

BG and Arenas have their scales tipped when a legendary makes it's way on to the field. This past season you (blizzard) withheld arena weapons such as not to undermine raid progression by making it easier with the pvp weapons.

Will there be (maybe not 4.2, but sometime) a time when lengendaries cannot be used in RBG or Arena?

I don't recall Atiesh having a great balance tipping ability like the melee weapons have in the past, so likely it won't be as big of a deal. I'm sure 5.x will bring about another melee lengendary and would like to hear a response from blue in terms of keeping arena weapons out of raids while also keeping legendaries out of rated matches.

It's easier to raid than it is to find a raid.

Daxxarri, you say you need to clear the previous content to be eligible to start the quest, is this on heroic mode since that's the only way to kill sinestra?

It would be great if it was, just so its not a shadowmourne 2.0 where EVERYONE has it. Like I even got smourne on my alt it was so easy to get.

I don't have Shadowmourne.

It is a pretty good idea.
Will it have another special reward, like the ones shadowmourne gave with the ending of the quest, or "just" the pet for everyone in guild.
In fact, how will it work, will it be for everyone in guild, everyone in the group as the legendary gets crafted, or something else.

holy crap you'd think people would just enjoy playing the game with friends. unsubscribe because an item isn't BOE? lol dude grow up.

if you are lucky enough to be able forge the staff grats to you and I hope its a fun experience. if not then there's plenty of other things to enjoy in the game so don't get your panties in a twirl.

Also, I really love this concept of an epic quest to get a legendary, like it was with shadowmourne, I don't get what people are complaining about.
