If Blizzard wants to make RBGs more attractive, they should simply up the Conquest points per win or even offer very few Conquest points per loss (10 for example, idk). That way you didn't spend the 45 minutes in trade chat for nothing even if you lose.

You shouldn't be forced to do them to reach your cap. You earn your cap and it should be attainable, even if it takes longer by doing arenas.

400 points per win isn't enough? Are you kidding me?

This is an unfair change. One of the attractions of arena is that you can do them at your leisure and they are quick. Rated BG's take a ton of time to get together, and take a ton of time to complete. It is a completely different style than arena, and you are trying to force people to make that transition when many clearly think one is more fun than the other. Rated BG's are usually long and boring, and it is nearly impossible to join a competitive rated BG team when you have a limited schedule. If all you want is more participation, then make it so 2/3 of your conquests earned can come from arena, and 1/3 has to come from rated BG's, but your max conquest points on the week can come from either rated BG or Arena whichever is higher. You are unfairly giving people with the time and player connections to build a rated BG team a big advantage in PVP allowing them to get the better gear more quickly. Please don't follow through on this....

My pvp guild had a discussion about this and it turned into all of us telling one warrior that pops bladestorm as an opener in sub 500mmr 2s that he is an idiot and his kind are why we are going to be forced into this crap, because bliz likes big circle jerks in mid of wsg. No worries I'll just take 33% longer to get my better gear and I'll win with out it. Horrible move by bliz though.

Pallys are most viable in RBG's right now and are easy kill targets in arenas, why wouldn't you want to do RBG's instead?

Thats cool I'm glad pallys are in a good spot in RBG's.

I'd rather play arena with my close buds during the few hours I have to play which is wayyy more fun than bg's.

I'm also quitting wow if they go through with this. The only thing keeping me on this repetitive game is solely The arena experience. Blizzard has made a lot of bad moves in the past and will make a lot of them in the future but i doubt any of them will top this.

Also, nerfing warlocks meager drain life damage by 25%when it attracts all kind of silences if used at the wrong time further encourages me to say good bye to WoW for the last time.

rbgs can be very fun if you win, but they are comeplete crap when you lose.

Its not just about the distaste for rbgs anyway. Its about being strongarmed into doing them to obtain a reasonable amount of conquest points.
