A) Those rules make absolutely no sense. What is the difference between someone making a thread asking if people like the new changes to a class, and a thread asking if people would vote for changes to a class? There isn't any difference, so why is one against the rules and the other perfectly fine?
B) Who the hell are you, Blizzard, to tell someone they can't vote on something? Especially in an online forum that you guys hardly read to begin with? I have the right to vote on something, anything I please, given to me by the forefathers of the United States of America and those who fought and died for us to retain those rights. No text on a screen from a virtual entertainment company is going to magically strip that away from me, or anyone else. If the idea of a petition is so harmful to Blizzard's fragile psyche, maybe you should just listen to the players before they come to the conclusion that forming a petition is the only way to get you to possibly pay attention to them.
C) It's been 5 days and the only Blizzard response was "Hey, what's up, you can't do that so I'm gonna smack you around a bit, then leave and pretend like if you change the tone of discussions, I'll come back."
A. The first option opens up a discussion where people can actually throw around ideas and engage each other. The second option just invites a bunch of useless "Me, toos."
B. These forums are privately owned by Blizzard, not publicly owned by all. Blizzard can tell you to behave however they feel like.
C. If the discussion in this thread from the last few days is anything like this post, you shouldn't be surprised that they didn't come back.
Also, they undid the Annihilation nerf.
