Remote Guild Chat App on Windows Phone 7?
|
|
So the mobile app for guild chatting from the phone has come to iPhone and Android, but nothing has been announced for Windows Phone 7.
I'm wondering if there is going to be an app for the platform soon? I feel like it would make sense... WP7 is attracting lots of gamers and socializes... Its the most user friendly and social platform... growing quickly too. I know there aren't that many WP7 users at the moment, but it feels like a platform that is already larger than Blackberry, and gaining so much developer attention should be considered by Blizzard. Not everyone has an Android or iOS device (I actually can't stand them, but I'm sure many can't stand windows phone 7). Please make an app for the platform! |

I totally support this post. I also have a WP7 phone and am eager to get remote guild chat on it.

I agree, there are more and more windows phones popping up all over the place and people like me would be more then happy to pay the $3 a month to use the remote services on it.

See, cmon Blizzard, the demand is rising. Windows Phone 7 is a beautiful piece of work, time to join in and be one of the first. Others are already starting to write apps for it. Ill be one of them soon. Reading code until im C-sick. |

Yup, the only thing stopping me from subscribing to remote.

I'm with these guys, I'm a game developer for the Windows Phone, and when I remembered that WoW Remote existed just now, I thought I'd sign up. Found out it's only $2.99/month, sure why not, for a month at least.
Oh, not available on Windows Phone? Balls to this. I guess I'm flying back to Org to see what's on AH myself. |

WP7 app please! I understand that the wp7 consumer base is not as large as andriod or iphone, but MAYBE it's because of the lack of apps? OK maybe not but still, I know many people who have windows phones and really want an official blizzard Warcraft armory/remote guild chat/AH. We appreciate the official authenticator, it shows that you guys are possibly hearing the wp7 community and it's a step in the right direction but what we really want is the remote access! or at least an explanation of why it can't be done if there are limitations on the wp that would interfere with blizzard making a working app for it.

I am waiting for this as well. I tried the app out on my ipod touch. I loved it and would use it all the time. However my cell phone is a win7 phone. So I ended up cancelling it after a few months because obviously my ipod touch only worked where wifi was available. I am constantly check for an app for this.
Please hurry and give us this app. Tell us you are working on it or something at least!! I know a lot of people that would subscribe once this becomes available. |

Can we get an update on WP7?

I don't even mean to demand a release date, I'd just like to know this demand has been seen, even if the answer is "we have no plans to develop a WoW Remote app for the Windows Phone", I just want to know we aren't passing under the radar.
O_o Of course, now that I know I don't have it, every day I keep thinking "it would be nice to know if [Useful Item] is on the AH before I go all the way to Shatt to find out... |

I, too, would really, really love a WP7 app. I hope to get one for Christmas, and it would be nice if I could have Remote Guild Chat when I'm on the go! Come on, Blizz...pretty please?
