Guild Type: 10 man casual raiding Website: http://flaminggaze.guildlaunch.com/ Progress: 5/8 Heroic t13 6/7 Heroic t12, 6/13 Heroic t11 Server First Glory of the Firelands Raider We're currently looking for the following: Against all odds, it seems that both of our raid crews are full! So we're not exactly shopping for anything, but feel free to apply for stuff anyways. Our old forum thread has become outdated, with a raider taking a leave of absence because of some real life issues, so I'll be taking over. This is now Gaze Central, until further notice! The Flaming Gaze is a casual raiding guild formed in the later days of Wrath of the Lich King. Our roster boasts a large array of players with many being able to trace themselves back to Classic and Burning Crusade, along with a plethora of skilled raiders who are newer to the game. We traditionally raid a bit later than most guilds on server, and tend to be a group of night owls, so if you can't sleep and decide to log in, odds are pretty good you'll see a handful of our members online running old instances, dungeons, or generally entertaining ourselves talking to each other. We tend to be a very lighthearted and laid back guild, despite our fervent dedication to raiding when the time comes, so please have a sense of humor if you plan on hanging around with us. If you're interested in joining The Gaze, keep the following in mind: -Please, above most all else, recognize that World of Warcraft is a game. Although we do like to take ourselves relatively seriously when raiding, we like to have fun, and hope that most anyone else joining us will do the same. -On a related note, we love our raiders to have a sense of humor and a personality to them. Even though many of our raiders are relatively quiet in vent, we are a varied and colorful bunch that mesh pretty well and get along. Make an effort to talk to the rest of us, we don't bite. -Be pretty knowledgeable about your class. Despite our roster having a large amount of players extremely familiar with almost all classes, it'd be good if you at least knew your own stuff to a point. -Please have and be willing to use Ventrilo. During our progress runs, we value the teamwork, communication, and camaraderie that our chatter in vent bring. -Be a team player. Guild first players will be brought to guild events far more often than me first players. We succeed as a team and we fail as a team, although hopefully less often. -Please be able to take a bit of criticism and grow from it. If any advice is offered, don't take it the wrong way, it's all aiming towards helping you become better, and improving the group as a result. The Gaze train is picking up steam again. After dealing with a couple core members' absences during week one of 4.2, we have cleared up to Majordomo, good for 5/7. A very great job to everyone involved and especially Mightyzepper, Isana, and Cogle for filling in on short notice to excellent results.

Let's talk about us being 2/7, hoorah! Rhyolith was less fun than previously indicated by friends, but after a night of work on him, he fell. What good fun for us all!
Also Stune, we had our third drop this fine evening. Resto druid loot. I still have yet to see that Rag AGI trinket though. Or another druid token. |
