Apologies if this was reported already, took a look and didn't see any threads or mention to it specifically in the known issues thread.
Using the following call, I get a list of all members in a guild: https://us.battle.net/api/wow/guild/Perenolde/Collision?fields=membersand for each member in the guild I get a block like: {Achievement points (at the moment) is always 0. However, when I do a specific character API call, such as: http://us.battle.net/api/wow/character/Perenolde/RukiakI get: {So I can get the points, but I'd rather do a single API call to the guild roster than a separate call for each character. On slightly related note, would it be possible to get 'lastModified' into the guild -> members list also? - Rukiak |

Hmm. I reported that bug on Thu, Jul 7, 2011 at 1:15 PM via direct email to api-support@blizzard.com.
Did you not receive my email? |

Not all bugs can be addressed right away.

Straton,
Has this bug been resolved yet? And if not, any time table for it? |

Seeing this fixed would be extremely helpful. Having to get the guild roster then each character just for achievement points right now.

Just wanted to add an extra voice onto this one, having to iterate through the entire roster to get achievement point is a waste of system resources and bandwidth.
I really don't like having to make 200+ api calls when one would suffice. |

Any ETA on this? Or any other means of getting player achievement points in bulk other than making individual calls?

Hmm. I reported that bug on Thu, Jul 7, 2011 at 1:15 PM via direct email to api-support@blizzard.com. I am starting to get worried with all this ... This is certainly some bad commercial or marketing decision. But the issue is greater than that IF you know the subject. I really doubt that bringing the achievement points to the feed is really that complex. And if that is on queue for more than 6 months, there should be really nobody working on anything in the area. Year after year I can feel Blizzard putting WoW aside regarding new features and tools. I am not saying they have no reason for that, but WoW is still the one paying their bills. EDIT: offensive word removed |
Not to be an apologist, just speaking as a fellow software developer, you really don't know what's involved in fixing any particular bug when looking on the outside of a system. There may be load or caching concerns in keeping those achievement points values updated, it may be the tip of an iceberg of a setup that needs to be overhauled someday (or maybe the overhaul is being developed), you just don't know. So relax. Blue says they're aware of the problem. They'll get to it when they can. |

I suspended work on a project partly because of this bug. Picked it up again this week, unfortunately nothing has changed. Please fix it. |

Indexing character achievement points on a massive scale just became practical!
|
|
Not really
Some characters already have 0 ach. points whereas they are lvl 85 : http://eu.battle.net/api/wow/guild/Soulflayer/%D0%98%D0%BD%D1%82%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B2%D0%B5%D0%BD%D1%86%D0%B8%D1%8F/?fields=members |
