Lol? About 27k, which is base mana value at 85 if I remember correctly.
The fact that you have int gear on as ret is just atrocious. Please stop it immediately.

Edit: OH and Gem/enchant your gear sometime... Don't forget glyphs! (Bonus points if you reforge right ;o)

Unbuffed, I have 24,942 mana. We don't need much - not like we're spamming high-cost mana-syncs like hard-casting Exorcism, or dropping Consecrate on cooldown.

There should literally be no mana-generating stats on your gear whatsoever.

The only exception is an incidental 20 int/spirit from the all-stats chest enchant.

Don't need mana as a ret, no more than the base anyway. As long as you glyph for Ascetic Crusader and Hammer of Wrath, and use consecrate as little as possible, you should never run out of mana. Judging and the occasional Divine Plea on long fights will ensure that mana is a bottomless resource for us.

Which is another way of saying "It's just as well Blizzard gave us all those cost-reduction major glyphs, because otherwise we'd be screwed". Note that other classes get major glyphs that make spells do interesting new things. We get cost reductions that we have to use at least one of to effectively run in PvE (and in PvP we just have to be bloody careful to not oom).

You should have ~25K mana, and just make damned sure that you have those glyphs and that you only Consecrate at near-full mana, and that you judge on cooldown if you're low. Also, don't ever use mana to heal with outside of a Crusader-buffed Holy Light when soloing (this is sarcasm, BTW - sometimes you'll need to use Holy Radiance to help out, and you'll just have to watch your mana afterwards). Yes, we have to drink/Divine Plea after rezzing someone if we want to rezz another. Life as ret is full of these little joys.

Well, the way I see it, what else are you going to use those major glyph slots for? There's nothing else that you can really use to increase your utility in PVE except for a situational glyph like DP for certain fights or LOH (which you don't really get to use much in raids anyway: either the healers can take care of it just fine or the person is screwing up a mechanic and getting one-shot). At least they're giving us something we can use. I feel like for a lot of classes/specs, major glyphs are boring and useless and don't do anything to help you at all.

Yeah I have found ret kind of miserable lately.. the dead streak of nothing proccing to the proccing of everything and not having enough HP or GCDs to take advantage of all of it is really irritiating so I just decided to go Holy and PVP since its OP as all getout
