I joined a guild and was immediately promoted to GM and then the guy left and there is no one else in the guild and I don't want to start a guild so is there anyway to kill the guild or do I have to con someone into joining and dump it on them?
Didn't they put in a new rule recently that you can't disband a guild over a certain level or something? If so, a GM may be the only way to do it.
Guilds of level 3 or above may no longer be disbanded. Guild leaders wishing to leave a guild will need to promote another member to Guild Master first.
I wonder what that will do for names. Will there be an inactivity timeout which will release a guild's name back into the system? Especially since they're looking to implement guild transfers: it would seem that naming a guild without having to blow through a thousand annoying special characters would become more and more difficult without some natural inactivity decay.
Also, I wonder if that means that guild transfer would transfer the guild level as well... or could that be a way to game the system and disband?
I have a feeling we'll see that tweaked before long, and have it become more of a process rather than a slash command or full disable.
