Enough is enough. I mean, all the trolls are just bashing Ascend on our realm forums and flooding the front page with crap nobody cares about. Yeah, Ascend collapsed and it's hilarious of the from poetic justice, we get it. You don't have to make over 9000 threads about this.

If anything, we should be bumping Vagus' thread about his efforts to help push the last round of purchasing Cenarion Hatchlings to help with the donations being made to Japan. Or even Thrillerr's thread of him not getting any appreciation for being one of Dalaran's most skilled/helpful players (I'm not being bias because this is fact and NOT opinion.)

Let's focus on improving our forums by working on what we need rather than what we don't. We don't have to be entirely altruistic and little goody-two shoes over here (it's impossible, anyways)...but at least make an effort to repairing the inhospitality of our realm forums.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but it's a big deal when a guild makes such a negative impact on the server in many ways, either trolling or starting drama. If you're so upset about it, go spam blizzard about 30 reports crying about the problem on the forums if it makes you feel better.

To make things fair, would you cry about people ignoring the Japan relief because Osama bin Laden died? What about the financial crisis in the US? I'm sure financial problems in our own country are worse than the damages dealt in Japan.

Doom used to do the same exact, if not worse, trolling that Ascend has been doing.(It was mainly that orc warlock...forgot the name...but others of Doom occasionally jumped in.) They caused the same damage, but they're guild did not fall apart because they managed it well. Had they're guild fell apart, they probably would have faced the same doom...

But does this solve anything? NO!

And as far as your second paragraph goes, what does that have to do with anything? The fact that the threads I mentioned are in the now and Ascend's collapse has been a thing of the past for a while, is the point I'm trying to make. If mainstream media were to start broadcasting about Japan again and to make donations and whatnot, people would probably go back on that.

It's rather worse in this case, because your character isn't exactly 100% anonymous. Just let that soak in for a moment. The problem here lies with the attitude. A lot of people feel the way you do about the anonymous of the internet, but that doesn't mean one should become hopeless.

The 1960s era didn't happen without people uniting to make a change. The same thing can happen over the internet. It seems nearly impossible to a lot of people, but it's really not the case, I assure you.
