Is it just me, or does anyone else think cata greens in the 75-80 bg bracket is just plain dumb?

Im pretty sure Neobahamut has other level toons and is fully aware of the level requirements>.>
Besides, they are available to level 77's also. Make the effort to get some better gear. All these threads are are just people who QQ about people having better gear than them. GEAR THAT IS AVAILABLE TO EVERYBODY!!! Its not like BoA's where having a level 80 is required. Think of it this way, maybe blizz did this so that people who were getting pwn'd by players in BoA's can now get a little pay back and have all the players at an equal advantage... if you put forth the effort.
Sorry 75 and 76, you're stuck in the middle of a bloodbath.

that is assuming the appropriate armour type/ stas are on the AH from the time I level from 10- 78.

To be honest, the last time I leveled through, I did wait for a few AH greens to come up. Say it took a week (think it took longer, but I was also waiting for a fun cta weekend). Then in a few hours I was past the bracket where they mattered. That seems somewhat broken to me.

or just get your own.
could also LFG the old fashion way and get cata blues.
The mats for a to craft the set would probably cost more then a set of greens.
Why does everybody make this so difficult?
OMG they have better gear than me, but I dont want to go get it myself so I'm going to QQ on the forums ;_;

did you read the part slightly below what you quoted...

This gear isn't always available (though I didn't know you could queue for Cata dungeons at 78, as you suggest..may have to check that out). I would think a set of gear would go nicely for people entering cata zones. Plus, it would be nice to make gold off crafting professions as I level again..

Glad to see you gave up on the whole only 80s could get BoA thing though. That was just hilarious.

last time I leveled through I was actually surprised at how few players did have them. I won't be wasting time buying gear for those BGs anymore. Just queue up, heal people that won't peel, and in a few hours, be past that, and back to questing.

NERF ALL GEAR I DON'T HAVE IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO!

You can't queue for cata dungeons, I used the old dungeon system. Its funny that everybody is so lazy that if they can't do everything in the game from queues in Org or SW, then they dont think they can do it. Its hilarious how many people whisper me in BG's asking "OMFG, how did you queue for those dungeons to get your gear? It wont let me yet."

LFG often means just that. Sure at 78, I could get my guild to run Throne of tides a few times. On my main server my guild likely would, if only to help me out.

that is entirely server dependent.

Again, it's really not a big deal. I was surprised at the small group of people actually doing it. Either that or I just didn't have a hard time killing them anyway. But based on health levels, I will go with not that many people had them.

my suggestion about crafted sets again was:
1- to make money while leveling a profession
2- this may actually make 79 twinking enjoyable. Although, perhaps not, with 80 right there, and nice looking Wrath gear.
