Are 'gold' guys getting cheeky?

I don't get to raid much (too many rl interruptions) so I farm and hope I can pick up a nice BOE off the AH with the proceeds. It's been a long time since I saw anything other than wrists legs and weapons on the AH (for a mage) at level 365 and above (and then only a few from time to time).
So for the last month or so I noticed this Real Money for Gear guy has been spamming the chat channel saying he's got heaps of 378 gear for sale at buyboe dot com. That got me thinking. Is this dude and his friends (more than one alphabet name operating) gutting the AH at the expense of game players? Or (and jump right in on this one) there isn't much on offer out there anyway that's BOE cloth at that level. (Although across all specs he was linking quite a varierty.) I'm pretty sure this activity is illegal. I hadn't before but I may be hitting the spam button from now on. Hoping this plants a seed with the Blizz guys. Unsure what they can do about it though other than to act on the reports. |

I think its just more goldsellers making these adds. Whether or not they actually have items for sale I don't know, but I'd be weary of going to the site even to satisfy your curiosity. Chances are the whole thing is just another avenue to call people to a phishing site.

I think it is just a plot to create frustration within the Australian community.
