It's true. Take, for instance, Ragnaros: Elemental Lord of Fire. Big guy. Famous hammer. Made of a million burny bits.
...Killed by ten (eh, 25 max.) people. This will not do. I don't care how insanely magical or strong you are, it's just not right. I want to go into FL with 200 other people, of all classes, races, and gearing choices. I want mages peaking at 80k and rogues using the heirloom bow. I want my monitor to be smoking from the sheer volume of shiny epicness that is a united Galakrond.
Loot will be awarded based on /dancing ability.
Sounds like Everquest back around 2001. The 60-100 person bosses. All bosses were world bosses on 7 day spawn timers give or take 12 hours. They were tuned to around 60 or so people. But it wasnt uncommon for guilds to bring up to 100 people for them.
The concept of instance bosses wasnt introduced until Planes of Power (2005?)
