Pound Town has rebuilt its raiding roster for Firelands and is progressing quickly through normal mode content. We raid three nights a week (Wed, Sun, Mon) for 2.5 hours (8PM - 10:30PM server time) and keep a focused but laid-back atmosphere. Our new group cleared 5/7 in just two weeks of raiding, and we expect Majordomo to fall this week.
Current Core Roster:
Tanks: DK and Prot Paladin (OS Ret.)
RDPS: Mage (Arcane and Fire), Destruction Warlock, Balance Druid, and Survival Hunter
Healers: Restoration Druid (OS Feral DPS), Discipline Priest, and Restoration Shaman
So, we need a melee DPS who is competent at interrupting and capable of consistently making raid times. You shouldn't have to tank, so Rogue's are welcome.
Here's a log of our 5/7 clear (+ Occuthar) Wednesday: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-6y97hepdd3vjl93m/
General Guild Info:
Level 25; Cauldrons, Fish Feasts, and Enchants are provided to raiders.

We still have a great need for a competent and reliable melee dps.
All players who have a solid baseline understanding of their class (the stuff you learn from Elitist Jerks, etc) and some experience with operating in a raid are encouraged to come along for a trial run. There's no formal application required. If you do decent the first night, we'll invite you back for the next raid. Do that a couple times and you'll be considered part of the core raid group.
We're not worried about your gear within reason. ILvl 360 is so easy to obtain these days that anything less probably reflects a lack of commitment to your character, but even that's not a strict limit in exceptional cases. Doing mediocre dps with poor gear and proper rotation is much preferable to mediocre dps with good gear and a garbage rotation, so we'll take that into consideration.
Alts are fine as long as the raid schedule works. There are no guild expectations outside being present and prepared on raid nights.
Threats of violence. We take these seriously and will alert the proper authorities.
