Elysian, a 10-person raiding guild, is currently looking to fill a few gaps in our raiding roster. If you are looking for a fun, mature, end game raiding guild, then please keep reading!
About Us Elysian was created in December 2006 out of the desire to raid effectively, yet still have a life outside of the game. Originally a 25-person guild for all of The Burning Crusade, the Wrath of the Lich King expansion gave us the option for 10-person raiding. We decided to slim down and form a more tight knit guild. Being a 10-person raiding guild doesn’t have to mean “casual raiding”. We strive to be the best we can be, have fun, and complete the latest tiers of raid content. Recruiting Needs

Hello! I'm a somewhat casual player at this point, but it's mostly because my current guild only raids on SAT/SUN, like most guilds. I have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off of work, and I'm looking for a guild that raids on those days. I am quite ashamed to say that I have absolutely 0 raid progression. I've done a few WotLK raids, but I'm not even up to Heroics for Cataclysm or Firelands. I'm still working my way through the Firelands quests and all of the tokens required.
Other than this shameful lack of dungeon progression (and armor) I think of myself as a mellow and logical person, and have had experience as a tank (I actually enjoy the responsibility of tanking, but understand the need for an experienced and well-armored soul in this position) and as dps. I tend to go out of my way to avoid ridiculous internet ridiculousness. I work as a GM for another MMO, so can handle a good bit of shenanigans without getting ruffled feathers. I've been playing the WoW since August of '06, and recently transferred to Gilneas from Cenarion Circle. If there are tradeskill level requirements or needs for the guild, or if you'd prefer I completed a few heroics before taking me on, I'd be willing to put in the extra work for the chance at actually raiding for a change. I can put in an app on the guild forum, but I thought I'd post this first to see if I have a snowball's chance. Thanks very much! |
