Ambush has to either be scaled down for low brackets or made a higher tier talent or completely replace shadowstep. here is a brief example of something i saw ,so our fc juss took flag from horde in wsg 1 sec she's running towards our team and there is no enemy in sight, suddenly she died and they were 5 figures standing behind her. what the hell? i mean that ambush is ridiculously over-powered and new players probably resign from bg because of this. seriously something has to be done coz some of us dont like playing rogues. at least make it balanced coz classes like resto shaman are just like mailboxes waiting to be smashed by rogues. that earth shield they get is gabbage. Calling for balance againt rogues

no ambush and 5 backstabs would have done the same exact thing.

No backstab, and 5 hemos would have her down in seconds.

No Hemos, and 5 sinisters would down here in seconds.

5 druids stealthing and and hitting her with a ravage would have done the same thing.

so 5 rogues timed there ambush?

dont expect to see that much

not to mention how they can get Vanish, kidney shot...the works and what do classes like priests get. nothing that can stand up to that. i mean a rogue comes, saps you...ambush...and if yu manage to survive that....the rogue kidney shots you.....Vanishes....AMBUSHES YOU AGAIN. now how can you call that pvp. it should be RKY instead (Rogue Killing You). come on blizzard. enough of this. low level brackets are not fun anymore.

just get rid of low level bg's.

I agree it was 5 rogues -5 of anything should be able to easily down 1 player (maybe a healer would be a bit harder)
At the same time I do agree that a lot early PVPers dont que because of Rogues
IMHO they are OP the ability to stun your toon forever then stealth twice out of battle is just stupid
As a hunter I find it frustrating that I technically have to defeat a rogue 3 times to get a KB
and I also find it frustrating that Kiting (an actually skill that requires more thatn pressing a button) a Rogue is useless since they shadow step.
And I also agree they need to balance out the rogue cause like the OP stated I dont want to roll a rogue

Yeah its just stupid I agree

my alt is a disc priest and i get butchered coz low levels we get nothing to defend against things like stuns. well the human racial helps but wht if yu are no human

Funny thing about Rogues is they swear they are the most skilled player in WOW
Heck my 5 year old could pawn on a Rogue (they are almost as bad as Frost Mages)

look i can maintain shields on all nine of my teammates, AND penance you to death.

druids require positioning and cant sap you or vanish. if yu psychic scream them away yu will live. however if yu do the same for rogues they vanish and shdowstep again, oh did mention they can use ambush on you again

Lol. Rogue so op... Omg 5 rogues just messed up my flag carrier. Learn to heal? Or even play feral then you will see what op is. Rogues are the most balanced class atm. It take some sort of skill to kill something.

99% of rogues in the lowbie brackets are bad. Are rogues op at lowbie lvls, yes. Do rogue take any skill what so ever at lowbie lvls, yes. Do you need skill to get kills as a rogue in lowbie lvls, no. Something you should all understand is the dmg output at lowbie lvls is higher then the Hp can handle, that is why some of the classes at these lvls do so much dmg. Now as for rogues their ambush dmg is very high but once you get to endgame pvp it balances out. Atm the state of lowbie bgs is out of controll, to many classes doing to much dmg output for the hp pools they have at that lvl.

Nothing new here. Everybody knows that rogues are faceroll and way overpowered including 85. Only a few 85s (rogues) are willing to admit how OP their class is. Bads that play rogue are just that, bad.

Rogue is the only class that has the no hard counters, very easy to play, lots of control, and does incredible damage. No wonder so many are working so hard to deny it. Who would want to give up such immense power?

Don't let anyone tell you different - rogues are so broken pre-85 its ridiculous. There is literally nothing you can do to 1v1 a rogue, unless you are another rogue. And if you do 1v1 a rogue pre-85, then that rogue was just awful.

I don't want to turn this into a long post, but this is a serious issue Blizz needs to address. At every single bracket, up until 85, rogues dominate. And no, it's not the player...it is the class that dominates. Many players QQ about hunters in lower levels, but at level 30+ hunters even out...Rogues only become easier, stronger, and more un-killable as they level. They have an insane amount of control, a crazy opening dps burst, and the best survivability in the game.

And then rogues 'claim' they are good. Lol. Please, any person leveling a rogue should be aware of how OP'ed they are till 80+, and should only be doing it for the lulz. It is a low skill class, with minimal ways to screw up (until 85).

There is no little tweaks that will balance out a rogue. It needs nerfing all around.
- Ambush, reduce damage coefficent
- Vanish, increase cooldown
- Dismantle, increase cooldown
- Premeditation, should be given at level 48+
- Kick, increase cooldown
- Kidney shot, decrease stun time per CP
- Evis, decrease dmg per CP
- Shadowstep, increase CD to 30 sec


The abilites of the rogue just work "too well" at lower levels when opponents have a very limited amount of CC, burst, and survability. Add in potions, professions, BoA's, and literally it becomes a 1-2 buttons class for 60+ levels. It's a joke.

I'm not going to ask blizzard to fix this, because there are so many other things wrong with PvP at the moment that it would be a waste of their resources. Seriously, blizz has to devote an entire patch update to upgrading/fixing/enhancing the pvp experience. And don't use the excuse "its balanced at 85," because 1) its not, 2) that's a lame excuse. If I just started playing WoW now (and not for the last 4+ years), I would be immediately turned away from PvP because of how piss-poor the balance is until 80+.


Stop neglecting PvP'ers Blizz --- I'm a patient person, but your apathetic attitude towards the PvP community is a disgrace.
