We have a lot of guides in here that are worth linking and using, but due to sheer number we can't have them all stickied. I'm swiping a page from the European Newcomer forum and creating a listing of our various guides so the content is easy to find.
However I don't want this to turn into a thread consisting of a million different guides on a million different websites, so I'm using guidelines that our friends across the pond seem to be using.
To get on this list, a guide must be:
If you find or write a guide that you think should be on this list (and I haven't already found it), post the link in this thread along with the subject and what it's about. Please avoid class-specific guides because those would be better off in the class-specific forums.
Interested in writing a guide but need a little help? Rynokism has a lovely how-to blog post for aspiring guide-writers!
Categories will shift as we get more guides, and I'm open to suggestions on how this is organized :D

I figured I'd toss in the community's favorite databases as well for good measure.
Item, quest, spell, NPC, everything but the kitchen sink databases:
Warcraft Wiki databases*:
Hunter pet database:
*I know that these two are nearly identical and that WoWWiki is a bit unsupported, but Wowpedia isn't 100% complete either. For now I'm keeping both listed, but Wowpedia is the better source.

Fair enough- I'll have to figure out some way of letting people know when I'm joking, as opposed to seriously responding to a post.
Or at least just tell us when the funny part is :P
Also, stickied and thumbed and all that.
The thread, not you Ry.
And wb Ice, hope things will continue to improve.
You're a fluffy paladin. No one takes you seriously anyway ;P
And it's good to be back, Jakjak! Hopefully we can get this project stickied so folks might be encouraged to write more useful guides. There are probably a couple at the bottom of the forum that I haven't found while rummaging for links as well.
Threats of violence. We take these seriously and will alert the proper authorities.
Posts containing personal information about other players. This includes physical addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and inappropriate photos and/or videos.
Harassing or discriminatory language. This will not be tolerated.
