Ok, am I the only one who gets irritated when players use costumes in instances. If people are just messing around in the city, ok I am fine with costumes, its just that when players are in instances and use costumes. It REALLY annoys and offends me when a Worgen Death Knight has a costume of a freaking gnome scuba diver, and he just rushes through the instance. Players create a worgen character to be the strong guy of the instance. The whole idea of a tank wearing a gnome scuba costume or any other costume not only looks out of place, but its just ridiculous pointless, and just an outright insult to the lore concept of WoW. Seeing the image of a scuba gnome grinding through crowds in an instance is not funny or entertaining, its just stupid, insulting, and honestly it proves that the lore concept is no longer being taken into proper consideration. It's even more annoying in pvp. Again, I have no problem with costumes being used in towns, cities, or places were players just hang back and chill out. However, I think costumes should not be worn in an instance or pvp, or at the very least, make it so that players can't use their abilities and thus only wear costumes when they chill out. |

Yes, you are the only one.
Do your job instead of paying attention to what I look like. |

Who is more angry, you or your avatar.

Some people just wanted to do a dungeon or raid transformed, in a costume, for a little bit of fun. Sometimes it is an impulse that makes us laugh or smile or jump.
That does not lessen the road we took to get to the point where we could do it. It just means that we wanted to have a little bit of fun, look a bit different going through the instance. If i am a steller priestess healer are you going to hate me at 4.3 coming into your Lich King raid wearing the Mageweave set or the Robes of the Guardian Saint. This is little different. |

I'm sure they also dress up in costumes to celebrate Hallow's End, which is well within the lore concept of WoW. |

What? This whole sentence is funny and entertaining! |

Complaints on these forums get more and more ridiculous with each passing day.

I already stated that using costumes in events and towns is ok. |
Yeah, you probably are. |

Pfft. It's a tradition that goes back years. We used to run our MC/BWL/AQ raids with everyone transformed via Noggenfogger. |
Just when one thinks it can't get any more ridiculous, it does. Every time, and it's absolutely mind boggling, too. |

My husband uses
Let the people have fun with their costumes. It really doesn't affect you. Inspect them if you are interested in their gear. |

Just for this one day I will use my leftover Blossoming Branches from Noble's Garden and turn you into a little pink fluffy bunny that sparkles.

So since this thread is kinda ridiculous anyway, does anyone know anything about reading electric meters?
