I am posting this message in regards to the complaints of Madillos and Gorroc from my guild. These two do not reflect our current guild policies and we of course do not support the actions these two took in the pug FL they put together.
These two have been removed from the guild until I can get all the facts straight regarding what happened. Those of you that got banned from the vent server please know this was not a lunacy vent server as we don't use ventrilo. We use Mumble voicechat. This was their own personal vent server. These two have been members of this guild for only a couple of weeks and until this time had not done anything like this. Lunacy does not tolerate how these two acted and will never tolerate it. I encourage those of you from the raid with them to open a GM ticket in order to properly voice your complaints to Blizzard. |
|
The offenders have been dealt with. Lunacy and its officers offer our sincerest apologies to those were victimized by these former members' actions. As stated above, the best course of action would be to open a GM ticket and voice your complaint against the players involved. Thank you all for making us aware of the situation.

Feel free to open a ticket to "report" them for taking loot. You'll be wasting yours and Blizzard's time.
Unless he SPECIFICALLY STATED at the beginning of the run that there were loot rules that he would abide by, they can't do anything. You join a run with someone as master looter, you trust them to be the master of all loot that drops, regardless of how fair you think they have distributed it. Enjoy. |

would just like to state i have been a member for lunacy for over a year and claims by completely random people who have ZERO proof to back up their claims has forced me a guild spot, what does that say about your guild as a whole?
Also just recieved a whisper that i would be invited back as soon as the noise "dies down" so you can disregard this entire thread. |

i'm not worried about an invite back to be completely honest, if any time someone cries wolf you're going to kick someone. its obvious GMs are doing nothing about these atrocious and slanderous claims. and considering the title and demeanor of your first post, i'd lump you, and every one of these people hopping on the cry train above into the slander department. enjoy your time playing this GAME and stop treating it like it is anything more than that.
oh and by the way, i can ban whomever i want from my ventrilo server, and carry loot rules in any manner i want. a guildmaster is not a boss. |

Unless the dudes have a screenshot of the Master Looter specifically stating loot rules a GM will not do anything.
Once it's turned on Master Looter, it's his own loot rules as greedy as it may be. Unless he states specific rules, he's allowed to just put everything in his bags and peace out, even if he can't even use it. Whenever you join a pug and it fills up, the first thing you should always do is ask for loot rules. If he does not give them, or is vague, proceed at your own risk. Risk of losing precious virtual purple items. I get that the GM doesn't want people doing things like this, but the way the other dude played it out like as if someone was beaten half to death, or had their life savings stolen from them had me rolling. The offenders have been dealt with. Lunacy and its officers offer our sincerest apologies to those were victimized by these former members' actions. As stated above, the best course of action would be to open a GM ticket and voice your complaint against the players involved. Thank you all for making us aware of the situation. rofl |

First off, I would like to thank Sporke for dealing with these players. This is exactly the kind of thing that can affect the reputation of the guild and it's heartening to see someone stand up to this kind of asshattery.
All anyone has to do is look at Madilos and Gorroc's loot history, to see exaclty what they took. I do have visual proof of their ninja looting, as the message on the Vent server, as they kicked everyone from it, was: Kicked From Server: taking loots, thanks though. I guess these two kids thought they would get away with it, and maybe they even get to keep the loot. To Lunacy, sorry for introducing drama to your day, but when both characters were from the same guild, the natural instinct is to paint the entire guild with the same brush, even though it's clearly not the case. |

P.S. Atrocious and slanderous claims. Hilarious.

P.S. Atrocious and slanderous claims. Hilarious. All that shows is that he kicked you from the vent server over loot. I've seen this 1000000x on gilneas and the server I'm on now, and unless you have an in-game screenshot where the Master looter states the rules before it drops, he's allowed to do whatever he wants with the items. Any abuse he dishes out on his own vent that he paid for can't possibly be policed by blizzard. If you're looking to get him kicked out of a sub-par guild on a dead server, then it looks like the job is done. But you won't see a GM lift a finger about this or give the loot to someone else, unless you have an in-game screenshot of him saying one thing about loot before bosses die, and then doing something completely different with the loot. If they did take action without this type of proof, you'd see a lot of people in full epics very quickly just by making stuff up every time they lost loot to someone. |

They won't do anything even if you HAVE a screenshot... Player-submitted screenshots aren't accepted by Blizzard anywhere other than Tech Support to show them your problems. However, if they can go back in their own chat logs and find out that the guy said loot rules, then what you said applies. They will not accept a screenshot as proof, though. |
