Full Spectrum is the #1 two-night guild in the U.S. We are ranked #62 in the US overall and #23 for 10-man.
We're a guild for stellar players that want to raid on a casual schedule. While we take raiding seriously, we are laid back and have fun. If you want to clear heroics, but your significant other doesn't understand that "lame fantasy thing you do," then we're the guild you're looking for. In short, we’re home to people with significant school, work, or personal commitments that make regularly raiding 3+ nights impractical. Our members excel at the game, but can't commit to time-intensive raid schedules of traditional "hardcore" guilds. Still, most of us have been raiding for years. The guild was formed to take advantage of some of the "casual friendly" changes brought by WotLK and Cataclysm, and we have successfully pushed the boundaries of what was previously considered possible on a limited raid schedule. Our members strive to be not just great players, but great people too. We’re friendly, mature, and work together to get the job done. Raid Schedule Wed/Thurs 7:30-11:00 EST We raid just two nights per week, 3.5 hours per night. We run with a very tight roster of 11 members. That means our members achieve near 100% attendance. Real life happens, but it's rare. Current Openings Closed. What Makes Us Stand Out The three most common things people look at when searching for a guild are (1) current class openings, (2) progression, and (3) raid times. While those are all important, here are other things to consider that make our guild stand out, in addition to our 2-night niche: Low Turnover. We’ve never lost a single person due to jumping ship to a more progressed guild. Ever. That's because the people here genuinely enjoy our raiding environment. There's no feeling that people are being carried. There's no annoying member that is nevertheless tolerated. And frankly there’s few, if any, opportunities for faster progression in just 7 hours per week. Commitment to Scheduling. Sometimes you'll see guilds advertise certain raid schedules only to find out they regularly raid past their posted time that's eating into your sleep or other commitments. Our raids end on time. No Bench. We won't invite someone to the guild just to be a backup in case one of our raiders can't make it. Sometimes you'll see a guild advertise an open spot and end up disappointed when you're allowed in for just 1 or 2 bosses. We strive to get our trials into every single boss and to be as welcoming as possible. No Carries. When we say our players are stellar, we don't mean 9 out of 10 of them are. Our entire roster consists of some of the best players you'll find, any of whom could easily run with some of the top guilds in the US if they had the time. What We’re Looking For Recent Experience. While getting a top kill on X boss in WotLK or getting a pre-nerf M’uru kill in TBC are both prestigious achievements, what matters most is being geared and experienced enough to push in relevant progression with us as soon as possible. We keep an open mind when it comes to players less progressed than us, but at a certain point a lack of experience can leave you too far behind. Motivation. We want to see you push yourself as much as we push ourselves. We want to see you show up with consumables, the best possible enchants, and come to raid with a positive attitude. We’re not looking to recruit people who think hardcore raiding is what they want; we want people who know it is. Dedication. We’re not looking to be a placeholder for the few months before you leave for the army or get overwhelmed with classes. We’re not looking for players who clear the content once and call it quits, just to start up again when they’re not bored of the game. We strive to keep our turnover rate as low as possible while maintaining a solid roster. Personality. Applicants should demonstrate above-average intelligence, maturity, a strong command of the English language, and a lack of epeening, douchebaggery, asshattery, and anything else that would make you unpleasant to be around. More than just good players, we're looking for good people, ones who we will enjoy playing with. If this sounds like what you're looking for, and you meet our admittedly high expectations, then we can unequivocally promise you that Full Spectrum will be the best online nerd experience you will ever have the pleasure of being a part of. Close call but I'm going to have to go with cereal because it doesn't require me using a stove or microwave. I tend to stay away from those devices because my wife has mastered them. That is her domain in my house. HAHA I will whip some !@#$ up on the grill though. |
