Before you apply, there are a few things you should know.
Recruiting and Guild Guidelines
We don't recruit often, and we never recruit just to fill a raid spot; we are looking for players who will fit into our guild for the long run. Our roster does not change often, and most of us have been raiding together for a few years now.
We are looking for a mature, calm player who is 18+ years old. This isn't some arbitrary rule, and it goes both ways; if you're under 18 you're probably not going to find our guild fits you very well.
We have a really low tolerance for players who consistently make offensive comments, or use unnecessary or inappropriate language. Trolling in /trade or on the WoW forums is guaranteed to get you /gkicked.
Our guild members have busy lives (then again, who doesn't?), and we raid on a very light schedule, with 6 hours of raiding spread across 3 nights. We typically spend all 3 nights on new content when it comes out, with the goal of clearing all normal modes pre-nerf, and pushing ahead on heroics if time allows. Once we have cleared normal modes, we typically spend 1 or 2 nights per week on heroics or achievements, with the rest of the time devoted to farming or going back to previous tiers for achievements or heroics.

In terms of raiding requirements, we ask our players to be on time, ready to go, with potions, and fully enchanted/gemmed/reforged gear. The guild provides feasts and cauldrons.
Attendance is never required, and real life always comes first. However, we do ask players to be considerate, and give us as much notice as possible if they cannot make it to a raid they signed up for. If you can't make a raid, don't sign up for it.
You should have some kind of boss mod addon (DBM, DXE, BW, whatever). Vent is required, and although having a mic isn't required, it sure helps.
We don't have strict gear requirements, but at this point in the game, we would expect applicants to have Firelands or LFR gear, fully gemmed, enchanted and reforged.
Beyond this, we have a fairly active guild website that many of our members participate in outside of the game. We use the guild website to organize raid signups and discuss strategies.
TLDR; If this was too long and you didn't read it, don't apply! Seriously. But, to summarize:
What we offer: A well-established guild full of friendly players. A stable, competent raid group. A light raiding schedule, with consistent clears of current content, and the possibility of pre-nerf heroics. Finally, a commitment to going back to past tiers to complete missing achievements and heroic modes.
What we expect: Our guild members are expected to min/max their character, be knowledgeable about their class mechanics, be familiar with the raid encounters, and generally make themselves an asset to the guild. We are looking for intelligent people, who are passionate about raiding, but don't necessarily have the time for a demanding raid schedule.
If you think this sounds like a guild for you, please head over to http://kaguild.com and fill out an application.
If you have any questions, you can speak with Anzari, Nakorviska, Picardie, or myself in-game.
