I am truly jealous that is all i can say, any and all warlock's should be excited about being a warlock right now and be very happy that you have Xelnath looking out for you guys when it comes to class design/balance.
I know warlock's have had it kind of rough lately but with Xelnath now stepping up and really working for the warlock's i am so jealous. For anyone that watched blizzcon and todays Q&A with class design and balance. You know what im talking about. Xelnath addressed EVERY warlock concern and than some. Us poor warriors begged for answers and got nada zilch nothing! I have never played a warlock but i hold warlock's as one of the most well rounded and respected class'es. To me , every warlock i have ever met is awesome idk what it is that attracts that kind of player but i am glad it ended up being you guys if not us ( warriors ) that finally have someone stepping up for them. |

He never answered any 4.3 destro questions, I am unconvinced.

You must have missed it, towards the start there were multiple destro questions.
Infact there is about a 4 paragraph answer to destro and regarding the fact that warlock's have been pushed almost completely towards DOT's. And one of his answers was (( Fear not, the return of demon mage will return ! )) than he summed that up by saying that Warlocks will have the option of having viable mage-like abilites again. (Destro will be getting some new toys/twinks/upgrades) ((( i didnt see that you said 4.3 but i know he said alot about destro, 4.3 is NOT a major class balance patch so dont expect a complete overhaul for 4.3 just be happy you guys have xelnath all im saying ))) |

Plenty of warrior questions where answered, maybe just not your questions.
I don't pretend to know what the actual warrior issues are, but on sheer quantity you did much better than a lot of other classes. Regardless, it's nice to have a lot of questions answered about warlocks, hasn't happened in a while. Xelnath addressed EVERY warlock concern and than some. Chaos Bolt, just saying... Either way, Xelnath seems alright =) |

Are you on drugs ? You can go back and read the entire thing again they answered LITTERLY about 4 questions for warriors. This is the rough summary of it.
Warlocks - 16 answers Monks - 11 Mages - 10 Rogues - 10 Paladins - 8 shamans - 9 warriors - 4 The warriors issues are pretty much summed up in the following. Our damage is out done by every other melee atm ( feral / dk / rogue ) We have half the utility of each of these We have almost no mobility Warriors are in a rough state, we are a kite fest for most classes, this is why you are seeing about 90 % of the top arena warriors reroll/quit this season :( And why every arena comp that has been at any tourney has not had a warrior in the ranks. |

I asked a couple questions regarding moonkins and DK survivability against melee, both in PvP. You ARE joking correct ? If you are playing a DK and truly think their is a problem with DK's survivability against other melee (warriors/feral/rogues) I HIGHLY suggest you dont even attempt to play another class. I could only imagine if you played a warrior atm or even a warlock atm. I also play a dk in arena and i can even admit that we have it so very easy atm its almost insane. |

Warriors have bad mobility? what class did i play for 6 years then?

Demo will use Shadow Bolt unless in demon form, then Shadow Bolt transforms into a different spell. |
I am truly jealous that is all i can say, any and all warlock's should be excited about being a warlock right now and be very happy that you have Xelnath looking out for you guys when it comes to class design/balance. Well, he didn't answer everyone one. I asked 3 Warlock questions, got 1 answered. My 3rd question was a condensed version of the snd one though. My first had to do with glyphs/abilties that effected the lower versions of the minion if they would also effect the higher version. My only other question was if any class could one day summon Val'kyr, because that would be awesome |

I'd like to know when we can summon Eredar. If Fizzlebang can do it why cant I?

I'm personally very pleased with the amount of attention Warlocks got on this Q&A, I just wish we were seeing some of this cool stuff earlier than 5.0 :(
I guess they just basically gave up on Destro in Cataclysm. I know there's a significant damage buff coming in 4.3, but damage, while important, was not really most Warlocks' main concern with the spec. |
|
|
What is there to be excited about again. Blizzard ignored many questions about destro and ramp up time for damage in all specs.

Like others have said, it was nice to get the info that we did but I had destro questions that got ignored as well. Mainly I wanted some reassurance that we wouldn't have to suffer with the miserable Improved Soulfire mechanic in MOP
|
Everyone who wasn't dedicated to the class left. That's why we're the least played class (or very close at least). |

As part of the buff consolidation plan, Improved Soul Fire is no longer a part of the 5.0 Destruction Warlock. The damage gained from the buff has been rolled into the Infernal Ember mechanic. We’re trying to improve the quality of life for this spec, and removing Improved Soul Fire seemed like a good place to start. |

And one of his answers was Where was that? I read all the questions, then looked at them all again when I read the quoted section above and found nothing of the kind. There were a lot of Warlock questions but I don't see one like that. |
