The ambient sound of rain crashed hard throughout the city of Darnassus. Sprinkling off leaves of the lush trees that surrounded, off the stone pillars that held the cities most impressive arches. The occasional crack of lightening filled the sky, disrupting the night sounds of rain with a powerful rumble of thunder. Most of the citizens have retreated to the dry safety of their homes, and the temple. But for the refugees of Gilneas, they only had one place to seek shelter, The Howling Oak. Crowds gathered, Worgen and Gilneans alike. Quickly brushing off their hats and shaking their furs free of any soaking rain. Their people endured much since they left Gilneas, though they have learned even more. Odd now, that man and beast can stand together as one people. As the hollow of the Oak began to bristle with chatter, the people within found ways to wait out the storm that threatened the great tree of Teldrassil. Two worgen, nodding to each other from across the Oak, signalling that the time was now, and enough had gathered to hear them. Soon after the nod, the male worgen of the two, rose up. Standing himself on a stone bench provided by the Kaldorei. This beast of a worgen had a very large, intimidating posture, clad in hard dark leather armours, and a black cloak and tabard. The symbol of a light grey rose decorating his colours. Throwing his head back in a deep powerful howl that pierced the stormy night, quickly catching the attention of all those within their tree. The sound of chatter died, and all that was heard was the hard sprinkle of rain from outside. Glancing over his crowd, the male worgen began to speak. His voice deep and powerful, filled with the vicious growl of his worgen traits. “Brothers, Sisters, survivors of Gilneas. Hear me! I am Sir Weylyn Maccon, first son of Lord-General Edward Maccon of the Gilneas Black Knights! Though most of you wouldn’t know me as my previous life name, for I now have become known as Rhazar, The Black Wolf! I seek your ears now more then ever! For our King has charged us with a Knights task. My comrade and I seek recruits and followers, to aid us in seeking valour and honour with the Kaldorei!! For our people have a debt to repay, and our sanity to thank for. The Kaldorei lands are being pushed, and we will aid them in their struggle! We owe them that much… We seek the greatest of our people, those that will swear to honour, valour, and ferocity. Those that will fight to their end through fang and claw, sword and shield! And when our debt is repaid, and our strengths have reached its peak, we will pick up our gray rose that we left behind, for we cannot spend the rest of our lives living off the Kaldorei. The Gray Rose in our hearts awaits us, for she is Gilneas, and we -will- return to her. But not as the Knights we left as, but as the -Wolves- we have become!! Proud! Honourable!! And stronger then ever before!!! We are the Wolves of the Gray Rose! And Gilneas -will- rise again!!” Roaring his head back in another powerful howl, though not alone this time. For the humans and Worgen began to roar, cheer and scream with him. Looking over his rallied crowd, the beast looked past to his comrade. A female of the Worgen race, standing proud and beautiful. Nodding to her, for they now were ready to begin. |

Hello, and welcome. Thank you for reaching my post. I would like to start by saying that <Wolves of the Gray Rose> Is a strong level 25 guild that seeks any Gilnean-born adventurers to join our ranks. Our guild is going to be co-lead by two former members of the famous <Wolves of Greymane> Myself, and Kaylien. *Update* The old <Wolves of Greymane> leaders have given me conrtol of the orginal guild. It is now returned to housing a Worgen/Gilnean Theme! Though will be based on the new <Wolves of the Gray Rose> structure. This is a -good- change and I put a call out to any strong Worgen/Gilnean RPers! We are back, and stronger then ever! The theme we are aiming for is a strong focused Knighthood of Gilneans/Worgen. We aim for a solid circle of family, and dedication to one another. Backstabbing trickery will not be welcome, and likely result in severe consequences. Our goal is to provide a fun atmosphere for Worgen/Gilnean Rpers. We plan to host many events which include RP-PvP, and general RP. Our current main focus will be involving ourselves in Kalimdor based events alongside the Moonblade, until we ICly feel strong enough to push for The Eastern Kingdoms, and Gilneas. We also plan on hosting weekly casual RP events such as an IC feast where companions can drink, eat, and tell stories to one another detailing events within the past week.(In-game food and booze provided) IC training/learning events, are also a main goal. PvE is a future goal when we get the numbers, and strength. Requirements/rules to join this rose of a guild are as followed. I hope to hear from anyone interested soon! Good luck. This looks awesome. If Ferenold manages to muster up the balls to actually -fight-, and not cower in his Oak teaching druidism, I might consider joining.
