Willing to server transfer if there's a good guild recruiting. I don't PvE. Just PvP healing. I'm interested in RBGs, World PvP, and Arenas.

So, I take it LH sucks on alliance side? I have a couple friends over there but they're new to wow but, I wouldn't mind being on the same server. I was just hoping it was good for world pvp, arenas, & RBGs, etc.

Good guild in respect to PvP = one that's active not stagnant, and friendly and not arrogant. Win/losses, don't matter to me as much as the fun I have with the company I keep. It takes more than one person to be the team and since BC (I didn't PvP in vanilla) I've liked the rush associated with PvP whether it's World, Arenas, or RBGs. Yeah the numbers aren't impressive, but this isn't my first character or priest for that matter :)

whats wrong with massacre guys they're a good group of folks
|
You're in <Massacre>.Actually, hes 100% right. We actually enjoy the game for a game. We are a pure pvp guild that does everything with heavy world pvp and nightly rateds. Definately no arrogant people in there, just a bunch of people without the need for e-peen flexing who prefer the pvp side of wow. 1. We wouldn't let him in. 2. He wouldn't go even if asked. 3. We don't want him in. As good of a player he says he is, we don't like the call of duty mentality in our guild. Fun to me is playing with other people doing the things we enjoy together. |

There are currently 4 ( I think) pvp guilds on ally side.
Mine <Massacre>, join if you want to be around like minded folks who play for fun. <Phalanx> join if you are more concerned with ratings, if you want stats, this would be the one to join. Not sure how the pvp focus is as I have been told pve is main priority? <Battlemasters> Not sure what their mission is anymore but they are very similar to massacre, I think, but more focus on rateds and somewhat rating (correct me if im wrong) <some new random name with allied in it?> No idea about them, just saw that they wanted people. |

what is call of duty mentality
|
Of course I'm right.
Prepare for hours of focusing Odinn's raid frame in World PvP as he does nothing but waddle around and tickle people with his 2H. Fun fun fun.
Actually, they tend to sponsor trade chat 2.0 in their guild while they wait for their parasitic relationship with WPVPIB to sprout some random moving target dummy fight somewhere around SW. Their nightly rateds amount to the equivalent of trade chat pugs OD'ing on Acid while huffing paint and listening to Bjork on full blast. That is, they probably don't go well at all. Cause forever losing is fun amirite?
More like a bunch of people that want to do nothing other than rot on this server. Great place to go really, it's like where skill and competition go to die while you sit and wait for some attack on goldshire to happen so you can rationalize that playing this game for world pvp makes it worth $15 a month. 1. We wouldn't let him in. 2. He wouldn't go even if asked. 3. We don't want him in. As good of a player he says he is, we don't like the call of duty mentality in our guild. Fun to me is playing with other people doing the things we enjoy together. I love how you put "he says he is." Anything not to try and give credit where credit is due? Classy, Odinn. This is really about as mean as I can be. Other than just calling you a retard, I normally don't waste my time, but I haven't done this in a while so why not kick up some fresh dirt again. |

I don't think Facemelter has any friends, just people he talks to but deep down, he knows that he will die a sad, and lonely individual. I don't even know why he has such a big ego, it must have been that one time he played at 2400 with a multi-glad mage and got kick off of the team for a reason unknown to me, but from what i have heard, he was holding them back. Now, i don't mean to talk bad about Facemelter, in fact we used to be on good terms back when polymock was an actual guild. I just lose all respect for someone when they start to act as if they are better than everyone else solely based on the fact that they once played at higher ratings than most. |

Lol Pivot I took your first smart !@# answer as a joke, but I guess you've been wanting to pick a fight for awhile now so I'll go ahead and accept.
But you did anyways so...
Seriously, kid? Aren't you a little old to be basing your arguments off of assumptions on someone you hardly know? Sorry <Polymock> ended up dying, I understand that you were using that guild tag and your connections with Turtlemilk to try and make yourself seem important and respectable, but things change.
I'll help you out by giving you the real story, that way, you can stop believing in your stupid rumors. We carried Bonsai to his T2 at first (he was an 1800 resto druid), then from there we recruited a druid off of AJ to play with us. We get to 2513 and then sit because I was entering finals and I needed to study and ace them. Deadly got antsy and wanted to play but I told him I couldn't because of college. Turns out, the druid was getting upset with not playing games, so when I finished finals and we did decide to play we were rusty and we tanked a bit. We decided to try owlplay with deadly's shaman and they convinced me to leave the team. After one night of Q'ing the druid xferred off and I got shafted for no reason. Deadly's shadyness, and the annoyance coming from JV trying to recruit me for RBG's/trying to kill polymock, made me leave horde side for partners on ally: to avoid all this nerd drama. Finally, I've been 2200+ multiple times this season alone: once helping a friend and carrying some shaman to 2200 in 3s early season, once after I got hacked and had to regrind up to 2200 post-mmr fix, then again when I decided to start playing shadowplay again. I've been fighting nothing but glads and R1's this whole season due to the deflation of MMR. I'm sitting at R5 in 5s after two nights of Qing (we had to grind the teams rating up). So for now, I would say I'm fairly consistent with my level of play, especially with how bad this server is.
Who are you to judge? You've never been good at pvp, you even admitted it and accepted it (something I wouldn't have done, but w.e) back in the few times I did talk to you on vent. So glhf in all your low-level instance farming and transmog parties or w.e, I don't mind that people do that stuff. But don't come up here and address me as if you know anything about my skills or PvP in general. Last I checked, sitting in elwynn or duelotar all day doing nothing for the past couple of years doesn't equate to much. $%^-ing Forum justice... |
Tamedhacker would disagree with you. TOPHUNTER!!!! |
Wow FM, I don't say it often but in this instance its warranted. umadbro? I never claimed to be a skilled player in competitive arenas, never will, because I personally do not care about it. I have not had any desire to get beyond a certain arena rating other than in seasons where it was required to get a weapon. 2200 mulitple times eh? Please tell me you're bragging about this "extremely hard feat" to accomplish (quotation marks added for sarcastic tone). When I hear from people at random, mainly the people I see you call your e-friends, and your guild members talk bad about you I just read things like you wrote above and don't wonder why. I think I have heard more people from your guild tell me they don't know why you're even there or that they don't like you than from anywhere else. If it pleases you to make feeble attempts at flaming myself and my guild, or it somehow makes you feel better about yourself, by all means keep it going. I think its rather pathetic to spend so much time doing so but I guess you have to boost your self esteem somehow. Call of duty MW3, you'd seriously fit right in! |
