Who are we? Founded in February 2006 on the Greymane realm, and subsequently moving to Dreadmaul for WOTLK in 2008, Arashi takes pride in consistently being one of the premier GMT +8 raiding guilds in the game, and is currently the top alliance guild on Dreadmaul. Our foundations are based strongly on the dedication and loyalty of our members and leaders, and the bonds of friendship we have nurtured over time. With the advent of Cataclysm, we will continue to tackle the charred landscape of Azeroth with the same verve and determination as we did in WOTLK. Our focus is primarily on 25 man raid progression. However, we are not a hardcore guild. Most of our members are working professionals, and we believe that playing this game shouldn't become a second job. Raiding should be a passion and a hobby, as well as a form of relaxation and something we should enjoy doing. Raiding Times We raid at the +8GMT timezone. All our raids begin at 8.30pm +8GMT. (or 11.30pm Server time) We have 3 main raid nights, with 2 backup raid nights and 2 off nights. Main raiding nights are used primarily for progression content. Backup raiding nights can be used to continue progression content, or clear farmed content if necessary. Otherwise they will be free and easy nights. Off nights will never be used for official raids. Members can do whatever they want, including going out in RL to get some much needed social lives. =p Our schedule is as follows: Main Raid Nights: Wednesday, Thursday and Monday Backup Raid Nights: Friday , Sunday Off Nights: Tuesday and Saturday Recruitment Needs High demand: 1x Ele Shaman 1x Ret Pally 1x Hunter Medium demand: 1x Rogue 1x Warlock + exceptional players of any class *We are looking to recruit more exceptional players to bolster our roster for Cataclysm.
