Some items were recently reclassified. You may find yourself in possession of one of these items and are no longer able to use it.
If this item replaced another and you need Game Master assistance to recover your old item, please place a petition with the new item name, that you can no longer use it - and the old item name you need restored. This is a sign of good things to come. Thank god! I can forsee a lot of good things in the future if the loot system is designed this way.

That proc was worthless for rogues and they now have restrictions on it!! I was skeptical this would get overlooked if any fixes were to go in, but it wasn't. :) Glad to see these restrictions...kind of. It's a shame that these restrictions are needed in the first place. If only people would always behave well these sorts of limitations wouldn't even be necessary. Apparently its a behind the scenes coding.. not a listed one like on the PVP drops from BH. (although it SHOULD Be on the items IMHO). All in all, i agree, this will stop ALOT of the miss looting as well help the LFR bonus rolls work more as inteded :) (There might still be a few like •Gurthalak which a pally could roll on as a tank, as it is listed as a tank weapon for DKs in the LFR bonus's (at least prior to today) |

while im glad to see some action on the (very predictable) disaster that is the LFR loot system, I have to ask why in blazes you didn't do something like this before it went live?
It's not like this exact feedback wasn't on the PTR about this feature for at least a month prior to it going live. If you could now just fix the NBG system as it's core with respect to things like agi users being able to even roll need AT ALL for str items and vice versa you would get the major categories of screwed up out of the system for everything and not just LFR dragon soul. Then you can worry about the corner cases like spi items being both dps and healer for some classes. Really you should have seen this coming and already started doing the work to add the database fields to items for what items are intended for which specs. Thanks for the LFR, but please in the future think through your planned feature sets and implement less half-baked ideas. |
